कहानी हरियाणा के तीन लाल की
यह 1966 ई. की बात है, जब हरियाणा नया राज्य बना था. राज्य बनते ही हरियाणा की राजनीति में तख्तापलट का खेल शुरू हो गया था. ये वह दौर था, जब सरकारें आ रही थी और जा रही थी. उस समय हिंदी की एक कहावत बड़ी प्रचलित थी – ‘आया राम गया राम’.
दरअसल, उस समय गयालाल नाम के विधायक कभी इधर तो कभी उधर जा रहा थे. इसलिए इस कहावत का जनक हरियाणा को भी कहा जाता है. इन सब डवाडोल के बाद 1968 में फिर चुनाव हुए, कांग्रेस सता में आई और बंसीलाल को मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में चुना गया. बंसीलाल ने सता में आते ही तीन बातों पर हरियाणा के विकास की नींव रखी, जिसमें नहरों का जाल, बिजली और हर गांव तक सड़क शामिल थी.
बंसीलाल एक तरफ हरियाणा की सता पर काबिज थे, तो दूसरी तरफ देवीलाल नई पार्टी ‘जनता पार्टी’ बनाकर हरियाणा की राजनीति में सक्रिय हो चुके थे. यह दौर आपातकाल का था. बंसीलाल पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री के विश्वासपात्र माने जाते थे. इसलिए इंदिरा गांधी ने 1975 में उन्हें दिल्ली बुला लिया और बंसीलाल अपना राजपाट बनारसीदास गुप्ता को सौंप दिल्ली चले गए. बंसीलाल को संजय गांधी का करीबी माना जाता था. विपक्ष के तमाम विरोध के बावजूद मारुति कंपनी के लिए गुरुग्राम में सैकड़ों एकड़ जमीन मुहैया करा दी. उस समय भाजपा नेता अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी ने इस को अंतहीन घोटाला कहा था.
1977 में देवीलाल जनता पार्टी के साथ सता में आए और मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में 1980 तक काबिज रहे. पार्टी में अंदरूनी मतभेद के कारण उन्हें इस्तीफा देना पड़ा. उसी साल देवीलाल को 1980 लोकसभा के लिए चुना गया. 1980 से 1982 तक वे लोकसभा में रहे. वर्ष 1980 में भजनलाल का हरियाणा की राजनीति में आगाज हुआ. 1980 में कांग्रेस सत्ता में फिर से आयी और भजनलाल को मुख्यमंत्री चुना गया. साल 1985 में एक बार फिर कांग्रस सत्ता में आई और इस बार सूबे की कमान संभालने के लिए बंसीलाल को चुना गया.
देवीलाल एक बार फिर 1987 में जनता दल के साथ सता में वापिस आए और प्रदेश के दूसरी बार मुखिया बने. अब देवीलाल का राजनीति में बुरा समय शुरू हुआ और वे लगातार 1991, 1996, 1998 में कांग्रेस नेता भूपिंदर सिंह हुड्डा से चुनाव हार गए. इसके बाद ताऊ देवीलाल ने कभी चुनाव नहीं लड़ा और बेटे ओमप्रकाश चैटाला ने उन्हें राज्यसभा में भेज दिया. वहां जीवन के अंत तक राज्यसभा के सदस्य बने रहे. 1991 में भजनलाल ने कांग्रेस की तरफ से एक बार फिर मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली. 1996 में बंसीलाल ने कांग्रेस से अलग होकर हरियाणा विकास पार्टी बनाई और शराबबंदी के नारे के साथ चुनाव में बिगुल फूंक दिया. चुनाव में बंसीलाल की पार्टी की जीत हुई और बंसीलाल तीसरी बार हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में सामने आए.
यह वह दौर था, जब हरियाणा की राजनीति की बातें पूरे भारत में की जा रही थी. सब की जुबान पर बंसीलाल, देवीलाल और भजनलाल का नाम था. यही वे तीन लाल हैं, जिन्होंने आज के हरियाणा की रूपरेखा रखीं थी. चाहे वह आज के मॉडर्न गुरुग्राम की बात हो या फिर नहरों और सड़कों की जाल की. आज के हरियाणा के पीछे इन्हीं तीनों का हाथ है.
