G20 बना G21..भारत की कूटनीतिक जीत…अफ्रीकन यूनियन हुआ शामिल..
नई दिल्ली: भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली में स्थित भारत मंडपम में कल शनिवार को G20 समिट का आगाज हुआ। भारत के प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने इसमें शामिल होने वाले सभी विदेशी मेहमानों का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। पीएम मोदी ने शिखर सम्मेलन की शुरुआत में ही अफ्रीकन यूनियन को G 20 के स्थायी सदस्य के रूप में शामिल करने का प्रस्ताव रखा। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की इस प्रस्ताव पर सभी सदस्य देशों ने अपनी सहमति जताई। जिसके बाद प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने अफ्रीका संघ के अध्यक्ष अज़ाली असौमानी को अन्य G 20 नेताओं के साथ शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया। जिसके बाद चारों ओर तालियां बजने लगीं।
हालांकि इस औपचारिक प्रस्ताव को जुलाई में कर्नाटक के हंपी में हुए G20 शेरपा बैठक के तीसरे शिखर सम्मेलन के लिए ड्राफ्ट में शामिल किया गया था. अफ्रीकन यूनियन का G21 के सदस्य के रूप में शामिल होना, भारत के लिए एक कूटनीतिक जीत के रूप में भी देखा जा सकता है। क्योंकि G20 के पूर्व के सदस्य देशों में चीन इस बात के लिए तैयार नहीं था।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी अफ्रीकी यूनियन को G20 में शामिल करने की वकालत पहले से ही कर रहे थें। उन्होंने जून में नेताओं को पत्र लिखा। तथा उन से अफ्रीका महाद्वीप के सम्पूर्ण प्रतिनिधित्व के लिए अफ्रीकी यूनियन को शामिल करने के भारत के प्रस्ताव की वकालत की थी। बताते चलें कि अफ्रीकी यूनियन के G 20 के सदस्य के रूप में शामिल होने से अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आर्थिक सहयोग को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। और सदस्य देशों को चीन के बेल्ट एंड रोड इनिशिएटिव (BRI) से उत्पन्न चुनौतियों से निपटने में भी मदद मिलेगी।
