अच्छा चलिए सिर्फ दीवाली ही नहीं ट्रेन में तो आपने सफर के दौरान लोगों को ताश खेलते देखा ही होगा। “खाली वक्त और ताश” का अपना एक अलग ही नाता रहा है भारत में। खैर वापस आते हैं ताश के 52 पत्तों के बारे में। एक रंग के 13 पत्ते और सब में राजा एक याद है ना, अभी तो बताया था। जी हां यानी कि 52 पत्तों के सेट में 4 राजा, बादशाह, किंग जो मन आए कह लिजिए। एक बात बताऊं चारों राजाओं की फोटो को जरा गौर से देखिए। देखा। अरे रुकिए, फिर से एक बार गौर से देखिए। चलिए छोड़िए क्या आपको ज्यादा परेशान करूं। इन चार पत्तों में जो राजा है उसमें से एक की मुछें तो है ही नहीं। अब पड़ी ना नजर। है ना कमाल की चीज। देखा था कभी इससे पहले इतने गौर से इस राजा को। आइए बताते हैं कि इसके पीछे की कहानी क्या है।
ताश को 52 पत्तों में हुकुम, पान, चिड़ी और ईंट चिन्ह के व रंग के चार बादशाह होते हैं। आप सब को पता ही होगा कि ताश में किंग, क्वीन और जोकर की क्या अहमियत है इस खेल में । लेकिन जरा लाल पान के बादशाह किंग ऑफ हार्ट के मूछ को देखिए। जनाब की मूछें ही गायब है। कहानी किस्से तो यह है कि जब ताश का खेल वजूद में आया तो लाल पान के राजा यानी कि किंग ऑफ हार्ट की मूंछें हुआ करती थी । लेकिन इन ताश के पत्तों के एक बार फिर से रिडिजाइन किया गया तो डिजाइनर ने किंग ऑफ हार्ट की मूंछें बनाना ही भूल गया। लेकिन जब इस गलती के बारे में पता चला तो यह बिना सुधारे ही ऐसे ही खेला जाता रहा।
हालांकि कहते हैं कि इस गलती को नहीं सुधारने की एक वजह यह भी थी कि लाल पान के बादशाह यानी कि किंग ऑफ हार्ट में फ्रेंच किंग शारलेमेन की तस्वीर है। बताते हैं कि शारलेमेन दिखने में बहुत सुंदर और मशहूर सख्सियत था। कुछ अलग दिखने की चाह में उसने अपनी मूंछें हटा दी थी। क्या आपको पता है किंग ऑफ हार्ट्स नाम की एक फिल्म भी बनी है जिसमें राजा की मूंछें नहीं है। कहते हैं चार बादशाहों में पहला जो हुकुम का बादशाह है उस पत्ते पर प्राचीन इजरायल के किंग डेविड का चित्र बना है। दूसरे चिड़ी के बादशाह की जगह पर मेसाडोनिया के राजा सिकंदर महान की फोटो बनी है। तीसरे यानी कि ईंट का बादशाह कार्ड पर रोमन किंग सीजर ऑगस्टस का चित्र है और चौथे यानी कि पान वाले याद आया बिना मूंछों वाले राजा के जगह पर फ्रांस के किंग शारलेमेन की फोटो लगी है।
