TULSI DIWAS: एक तरफ पूरी दुनिया 25 दिसम्बर को क्रिसमस डे मना रही है वहीं भारत में संस्कृति की पैरोकारिता करते हुए बड़े हर्षोल्लास के साथ तुलसी दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। दरअसल, सनातन धर्म में तुलसी को काफी विशेष स्थान प्राप्त है। तुलसी की पूजा को बहुत ही शुभ माना जाता है। कई लोग तो अपने दिन की शुरुआत ही नहा धोकर तुलसी पूजन के साथ करते हैं। इस साल तुलसी पूजन दिवस 25 दिसम्बर को मनाया जा रहा है। मान्यता है कि तुलसी में देवी लक्ष्मी का वास होता है और विधि विधान से इसकी पूजा-अर्चना करने पर सुख -समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है।
जानकारों की माने तो तुलसी की महिमा को सनातन की पुस्तकों में वर्णित है। आज के दिन लोगों के अंदर तुलसी की महिमा एवं उपयोगिता को बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से, इसके पौधे का वितरण किया जाता है। भारतीय संस्कृति के अंदर तुलसी को माता का दर्जा प्राप्त है। तुलसी को लगाने से लेकर इसके पूजन और महत्व के बारे में हमारे संस्कृति में विस्तार से बताया गया है। वास्तु शास्त्र में भी तुलसी को सकारात्मक ऊर्जा देने वाला पौधा कहा गया है।
धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, जहां पर तुलसी का पौधा लगा होता है वहां भगवान विष्णु और माता लक्ष्मी का बास माना जाता है। तुलसी की पूजा का भी अपना एक विधान है। सुबह ज्लदी उठकर स्नान आदि करने के बाद तुलसी में जल चढ़ा कर इसके चारों ओर परिक्रमा का करनी चाहिए। तुलसी के नीचे संध्या काल में दीपक जलाने के बारे में भी बताया गया है। कहते है इसे सप्ताह के एक विशेष दिन यानी कि गुरूवार के दिन ही लगाया जाना चाहिए। तुलसी के पत्तों को रविवार के दिन तोड़ने की मनाही होती है।
पद्मपुराण की माने तो कलियुग में तुलसी के पूजन मात्र से आपके समस्त पाप खत्म हो जाते हैं और आपको स्वर्ग एवं मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है। मंजरी युक्त तुलसी का विशेष महत्व है। तुलसी भगवान विष्णु को अति प्रिय मानी गई है। तुलसी के बिना विष्णु जो को चढ़ा भोग अधूरा माना जाता है। वास्तु शास्त्र के अनुसार, तुलसी के पौधे को हमेशा घर की उत्तर या उत्तर-पूर्व दिशा में लगाना चाहिए। घर की दक्षिण दिशा में भूलकर भी तुलसी का पौधा बिल्कुल नहीं लगाना चाहिए। इस दिशा को पितृ की मानी जाती है, इसलिए यहां पौधा रखने से भारी आर्थिक नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
