मिथिला की धरोहर मिथिला पेंटिंग
एक ऐसी कला जिसको वैश्विक पटल पर महिआओं ने पहुंचाया. यह एक ऐसी लोक कला है, जिसका संवर्धन और संरक्षण महिलाओं के हाथ है. हम बात कर रहे हैं मिथिला चित्रकला की. इसे मिथिला पेंटिंग कहा जाता है. माना जाता है ये चित्र राजा जनक ने राम-सीता के विवाह के दौरान महिला कलाकारों से बनवाए थे. मिथिला क्षेत्र के कई गांवों की महिलाएँ इस कला में दक्ष हैं. अपने असली रूप में तो ये पेंटिंग गांवों की मिट्टी से लीपी गई झोपड़ियों में देखने को मिलती थी, लेकिन इसे अब कपड़े या फिर पेपर के कैनवास पर खूब बनाया जाता है.
आज पूरी दुनिया में इसका डंका बज रहा है. देश ही नहीं, दुनिया के विकसित राष्ट्र मिथिला पेंटिंग की विशिष्टता पर मोहित हैं. खुद देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जब चीन दौरे पर जा रहे थे, तो उन्होंलने जो शॉल अपने कंधे पर रखा हुआ था, मिथिला पेंटिंग उसकी खूबसूरती में चार चांद लगा रहा था. भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का मिथिला पेटिंग से इतना जुड़ाव यह बताने को काफी है कि यह पूरी दुनिया में प्रसिद्ध हो रही है.
मिथिला की पहचान यहां की मेधा है. मिथिला की मधुरता है. मिथिला की संस्कृति और पेंटिंग है. मधुबनी जिला मुख्यालय से दस किलोमीटर दूर रहिका प्रखंड के नाजिरपुर पंचायत का एक गांव है जितवारपुर . करीब 670 परिवारों को अपने दामन में समेटे इस गांव का इतिहास गौरवशाली है. उसकी सबसे बड़ी वजह यह है कि इस गांव की तीन शिल्पियों को पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है. साठ वर्षों से मिथिला पेंटिंग से जुड़ी बौआ देवी को 2017 में पद्म पुरस्का र मिला. बौआ देवी को 1985-86 में नेशनल अवॉर्ड मिल चुका है. वह मिथिला म्यूजियम जापान 11 बार जा चुकी है. जापान के म्यूजियम में मिथिला पेंटिंग की जीवंत कलाकृतियां उकेरी गईं हैं. इससे पहले जगदम्बा देवी और सीता देवी को यह सम्मान मिल चुका है. पूरा जितवारपुर गांव ही मिथिला पेंटिंग और गोदना पेंटिंग विधा में माहिर है. लगभग छह सौ से अधिक लोग इस कला से जुड़कर देश-विदेशों में अपना नाम रोशन कर चुके हैं.
मिथिला देश के उत्तर में हिमालय द्वारा घिरा है, गंगा दक्षिण में कोसी, पूर्व, पर और गंडक पश्चिम में है. मधुबनी, दरभंगा, मुजफ्फरपुर, चंपारण, सहरसा, पूर्णिया, उत्तर मुंगेर, और उत्तर भागलपुर जिला को मिथिला के नाम से जाना जाता है. नेपाल के तहत तराई जिला और हिमालय के निचले पर्वतमाला के कई भागो में मैथिलि भाषा का ही प्रयोग किया जाता है. प्रारम्भ में रंगोली के रुप में रहने के बाद यह कला धीरे-धीरे आधुनिक रूप में कपड़ो, दीवारों एवं कागज पर उतर आई है. मिथिला की औरतों द्वारा शुरू की गई इस घरेलू चित्रकला को पुरुषों ने भी अपना लिया है.
कला शैली का विकास 17 वीं शताब्दी के आसपास माना जाता है. यह शैली मुख्य रूप से जितवारपुर और रतन गांव में विकसित हुई. सदियों से मिथिला की औरतें अपने घरों, दरवाजों पर चित्र उकेरती रही हैं जिनमें एक पूरा संसार रचा जाता रहा है. कोहबर, दशावतार, अरिपन, बांसपर्री और अष्टदल कमल शादी के अवसर पर घरों में बनाए जाते रहे हैं. चित्र में खासतौर पर कुल देवता का भी चित्रण होता है. हिन्दू देव-देवताओं की तस्वीर, प्राकृतिक नजारे जैसे- सूर्य व चंद्रमा, धार्मिक पेड़-पौधे जैसे- तुलसी और विवाह के दृश्य देखने को मिलेंगे.
मधुबनी शहर में एक स्वतंत्र कला विद्यालय मिथिला कला संस्थान (एमएआई) की स्थापना जनवरी 2003 में ईएएफ द्वारा की गई थी, जो कि मधुबनी चित्रों के विकास और युवा कलाकारों का प्रशिक्षण के लिए है. मिथीलासिमिता एक ऐसा संगठन है, जो कुछ उद्यमियों द्वारा बनाई गई एक संस्था बेंगलुरु, भारत में स्थित है. उपरोक्त लेख से मधुबनी कला के बारे में ज्ञात होता है और अब यह कला भारत में ही नहीं बल्कि पुरे विश्व में भी प्रसिद्ध हो रहीं हैं.
