हिंदी से बढ़ेगा आपका स्वाभिमान
‘अगर मुझे अंग्रेजी भाषा का ज्ञान होता तो मैं बहुत कुछ कर लेता’, इस तरह की बातें हम कभी भी और कहीं भी आए दिन सुनते रहतें हैं. ऐसा लगता है अंग्रेजी कोई भाषा नहीं, गणित का एक ऐसा जटिल प्रश्न है, जिसे हल करना बड़ी बात हो. जिन राज्यों में हिंदी आम बोलचाल की भाषा है, उन राज्यों में भी लोग ऐसा बोलते हैं, तो सुनने में अच्छा नहीं लगता. ऐसा लगता है मानो उनको अपनी भाषा पर शर्म आती है.
हिंदी पट्टी जैसे बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, छतीसगढ़, मध्य प्रदेश, और हरियाणा जैसे राज्यों में लोग हिंदी में बात करते हैं, सिर्फ बातें ही नहीं, यहाँ के स्कूलों में. पढाई भी हिंदी में ही होती है ताकि बच्चे अपनी मातृभाषा को भूल न जाए.
2011 की जनगणना के मुताबिक भारत की 43.63ः जनता हिंदी बोलती है. जब हिंदी बोलने में बहुत आसन है तो न जाने क्यूँ लोग अंग्रेजी जैसे कठिन भाषा की तरफ आकर्षित हो रहे. आजकल लोगों को लगता है की हम अगर चार अक्षर अंग्रेजी के जान लेंगे और उसको बोलेंगे तो बहुत सभ्य दिखेंगे. वो तो बिल्कुल उस मुहावरे की तरह लगेगा ‘काला अक्षर भैंस बराबर’.
अगर अंग्रेजी बोलने से ही सभ्यता दिखती तो देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी विदेशों में जा कर अपनी मातृभाषा में भाषण देकर नहीं आते. सिर्फ मोदी जी को ही नहीं बल्कि हर हिन्दुस्तानी को आपनी भाषा हिंदी का गर्व होना चाहिए.
टीवी के स्टार कॉमेडियन कपिल शर्मा का वह प्रचार तो देखा ही होगा, जिसमें वे यह बोल रहे कि उन्हें अपनी हिंदी भाषा पर नाज है. अनेक भाषा की जानकारी अच्छी बात है, लेकिन उसको अपनी मातृभाषा के उपर रखना ये तो खुद के साथ ही नाइंसाफी होगी. ऐसा बिलकुल नहीं है कि अगर आप कही हिंदी में बात कर रहें हैं, तो सामने वाला आपको हेय दृष्टि से देखेगा. यह भी तो हो सकता है न कि वह आपकी भाषा से प्रभावित हो गया हो. हिंदी की महत्व इतनी है कि आज देश का सबसे ज्यादा बिका जाने वाला अखबार हिंदी का है. पिछले ६-७ वर्षों में लोग हिंदी को फिर से प्रमोट कर रहे हैं.
आपको पता हो या न हो, लेकिन सच यही है कि यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ शिकागो में हिंदी कोर्स शुरू किया गया है. इससे यह पता चलता है कि हिंदी का महत्त्व दिनों दिन विश्व पटल पर बढ़ रहा है. असल में, आजादी के बाद से सरकार की उदासीनता के कारण हिंदी के साथ-साथ भारतीय भाषाओं के समुचित प्रचार-प्रसार पर ध्यान नहीं देने के कारण अंग्रेजी का वर्चस्व बढ़ता गया. नौकरी के लिए भी अंग्रेजी की अनिवार्यता के कारण हिंदी की उपेक्षा बढ़ती गई. कई सरकारों की राजनीति भी हिंदी के लिए उपयुक्त नहीं रही, लेकिन अब समय बदल रहा है और लोग अपनी भाषा में बात करना ज्यादा पसंद करने लगे हैं.
हिंदी की उपयोगिता आज के दौर में इसलिए भी बढ़ गई है कि अब सरकार के कामकाज की भाषा के रूप में इसका प्रयोग होने लगा है. अब समय है ये समझने का कि हमारी भाषा हमारी पहचान है और आगे बढ़ने का माध्यम है. दूसरी भाषा का ज्ञान कोई बुरी बात नहीं है, लेकिन अगर अपनी मातृभाषा में बात करें और उसे कामकाज की भाषा बनाएं, तो यह सोने पे सुहागा जैसी बात होगी. कहते हैं न ‘सुबह का भूला अगर शाम को घर वापस आ जाये तो उसे भूला नहीं कहते|
