R D BURMAN: 70-80 के दशक में अपने संगीत से लोगों को मदहोश कर देने वाले म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर आ डी बर्मन, जिन्हें हम सब प्यार से “पंचम दा” कह कर बुलाते थे, के हिट गाने सिर्फ उस दौर में ही नहीं बल्कि आज की पीढ़ी की भी जुबां पर गुनगुनाते हुए मिल जाएंगे। आखिर वे कौन थे, जिन्होंने उन्हें पंचम दा का नाम दिया आइए जानते हैं।
किस ने नाम दिया पंचम दा
फिल्मी किस्सों में ये जिक्र आता है कि आर डी बर्मन जब कभी भी कोई संगीत देते थे, या धुन बनाते थे, तो उसे “प” से ही गुनगुनाना शुरू करते थे। एक दिन, उनके इस आदत को उस जमाने के मशहूर कलाकार अशोक कुमार ने इसे नोटिस किया और चूकि “प”, सा रे गा मा पा की धुन में पांचवे नंबर पर आता है, इसलिए उन्होंने आर डी बर्मन साहेब को प्यार से पंचम बुलाना शुरू कर दिया। फिर क्या था धीरे-धीरे पूरी की पूरी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री, उन्हें इसी नाम से बुलाने लगी। इंडस्ट्री में बड़े उन्हें प्यार से पंचम कहने लगे और छोटे पंचम दा। और इस तरह उनका यह नाम पूरे भारत में बोला जाने लगा।
कहते हैं, धुन बनाने में पंचम दा यानी कि आर डी बर्मन का कोई जवाब नहीं। वे ऐसे संगीतकार थे जो कंघी से भी धुन बना लिया करते थे। उनके बनाई धुन के गीतों ने उस समय बहुत सारे अवॉर्ड भी जीते। इनमें से एक को तो आपने जरूर कभी ना कभी गुनगुनाया होगा- “मेरा कुछ सामान, तुम्हारे पास पड़ा है……..” । पंचम दा के संगीत ने उस वक्त जितनी धूम मचाई थी, रिमिक्स होने के बाद आज भी उतनी ही धूम मचाती है। ये उनकी धुन का ही जादू था कि उनके गाने तब भी सदाबहार थे और आज भी हैं।
कौन-कौन शामिल थे-तिकड़ी में
कई दशकों तक फिल्मी दुनिया में अपने धुनो से राज करने वाले आर डी बर्मन ने 300 से ज्यादा फिल्मों के लिए संगीत दिए। संगीत उनके खून में बसता था। उनके पिता- “सचिन देव बर्मन” भी हिंदी सिनेमा के जाने-माने संगीतकार थे। इनके दादा “नाबद्विपचंद्र बर्मन” त्रिपुरा के राजकुमार थे और दादी “निर्मला देवी” मणिपुर की राजकुमारी।
आर डी बर्मन या यूं कहें पंचम दा ने सबसे ज्यादा संगीत राजेश खन्ना के लिए दिए। कहते हैं पंचम दा की धुन, किशोर कुमार की आवाज और राजेश खन्ना का जलवा, ये तीनों पूरी इंडस्ट्री में तिकड़ी के नाम से जानी जाती थी। इनके तिकड़ी के कुछ बेहतरीन नगमें हैं- कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे.. लोगों का काम है कहना, यह शाम मस्तानी.. मदहोश किए जा,। पंचम दा ने आखिरी बार “1942: ए लव स्टोरी” में आखिरी बार अपना संगीत दिया था। फिल्म के सभी गाने सुपर-डूपर हिट हुए। लेकिन तब तक हमारे पंचम दा इस दुनिया को छोड़ गए थे। पंचम दा को 4 जनवरी, 1994 को दिल का दौरा पड़ा था और उनकी मृत्यु हो गई।
