मथुरा का फालेन गांव
यह गांव मथुरा से लगभग 50 किमी दूर है| इसे भक्तराज प्रहलाद का गांव भी कहा जाता है| इस गांव की होली बहुत खास होती है| कहा जाता है कि यहां हर साल होली पर एक पांडा जलती हुई होली की आग की लपटों के बीच से गुजरता है| हैरानी की बात यह है कि होली की तेज लपटों से निकलने के बाद पांडा का बाल भी बांका नहीं होता| इस चमत्कार को देखने के लिए होली के मौके पर कई लोग यहां आते हैं|

कर्नाटक के हम्पी की होली
हम्पी की होली भी दुनिया भर में मशहूर है| आपको बता दें कि यह जगह यूनेस्को की विश्व धरोहर में भी शामिल है| इस स्थान का संबंध त्रेतायुग की वानर सेना से माना जाता है| ऐसा माना जाता है कि सुग्रीव अपनी वानर सेना के साथ इसी क्षेत्र में रहते थे| होली में यहां बड़ा आयोजन होता है, जिसके लिए हजारों लोग यहां आते हैं| इतना ही नहीं होली पर हम्पी की सड़कें संगीत, नृत्य और खुशी के उत्सव के साथ खिलखला उठती हैं|

राजस्थान में उदयपुर और पुष्कर भी होली के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं| आपको बता दें कि इसे शाही होली इसलिए कहा जाता है क्योंकि यहां के शाही परिवार शाही अंदाज में होली मनाते हैं| यहां की होली की खास बात यह है कि यहां कपड़े फाड़कर होली खेली जाती हैं और यहां के शाही परिवार होली वाले दिन झांकी निकालते हैं|
महाराष्ट्र की रंगपंचमी
रंगपंचमी रंगों का ही त्यौहार होता है| इसे होली वाली दिन नहीं मनाया जाता है| यह त्यौहार महाराष्ट्र राज्य में होली के पांच दिनों के दौरान मनाया जाता है| विशेष रूप से यह त्योहार मछुआरा समुदाय के बीच लोकप्रिय है| वह इस त्योहार को शिमगा के नाम से बड़े उत्साह और धूमधाम से मनाते हैं|
