नई दिल्ली। G20 के शिखर सम्मेलन में हिस्सा लेने सदस्य देशों के प्रतिनिधि भारत आ गए हैं। दिल्ली के प्रगति मैदान के भारत मंडपम में उनका जोर शोर से स्वागत किया जा रहा है। इसमें शामिल होने आए मेहमानों में अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन, ब्रिटिश प्रधानमंत्री ऋषि सुनक, इटली की प्रधानमंत्री जियोर्जिया मेलोनी, पीपुल्स रिपब्लिक ऑफ चाइना के प्रधानमंत्री ली कियांग, इंडोनेशिया के राष्ट्रपति जोको विडोडो, रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव, तुर्की के राष्ट्रपति रेसेप तैय्यप एर्दोगन, जर्मन चांसलर ओलाफ स्कोल्ज, यूरोपीय आयोग की अध्यक्ष उर्सुला वॉन डेर लेयेन और यूरोपीय परिषद के अध्यक्ष चार्ल्स मिशेल, अर्जेंटीना के राष्ट्रपति अल्बर्टो फर्नांडीज समेत कई नेता शामिल हैं ।

जानिए चक्र से जुड़े इतिहास….
भारत मंडपम पर बनी यह चक्र की तस्वीर हमारे देश के इतिहास की एक गवाही है। भारत के पूर्वी हिस्से में स्थित राज्य उड़ीसा के पुरी जिले के समुद्री तट पर स्थित कोर्णाक मंदिर का है। भारत मंडपम में दिखने वाले यह चक्र जिस कोर्णाक मंदर का हिस्सा है उसे सूर्य मंदिर भी कहा जाता है। कोर्णाक के इस सूर्य मंदिर को गंग वंश के राजा नरसिंह देव प्रथम ने 1250 ई0 में बनवाया था। भारतीय सांस्कृतिक विरासत में इसके महत्व को दर्शाने के लिए भारतीय 10 रूपये के नोट के पीछे कोणार्क सूर्य मंदिर को दर्शाया गया है। यह मन्दिर सूर्य देव को समर्पित था। जिन्हें स्थानीय लोग ‘बिरंचि-नारायण’ कहते थे।
क्या है इसी मंदिर से जुड़ी कहानियां…
पुराणों के अनुसार श्रीकृष्ण के पुत्र साम्ब को उनके श्राप से कोढ़ रोग हो गया था। साम्ब ने मित्रवन में चंद्रभागा नदी के सागर संगम पर कोणार्क में, बारह वर्षों तक तपस्या की और सूर्य देव को प्रसन्न किया था।सूर्यदेव, जो सभी रोगों के नाशक थे, ने इसके रोग का भी निवारण कर दिया था। इसके बाद साम्ब ने सूर्य भगवान के एक मन्दिर निर्माण का निश्चय किया। अपने रोग-नाश के उपरांत, चंद्रभागा नदी में स्नान करते हुए, उसे सूर्यदेव की एक मूर्ति मिली। यह मूर्ति सूर्यदेव के शरीर के ही भाग से, देवशिल्पी श्री विश्वकर्मा ने बनायी थी। साम्ब ने अपने बनवाये मित्रवन के एक मन्दिर में, इस मूर्ति को स्थापित किया। तब से यह स्थान पवित्र माना जाने लगा। मुख्य मन्दिर तीन मंडपों में बना है।
तेरहवीं सदी का मुख्य सूर्य मंदिर, एक महान रथ रूप में बना है। जिसके बारह जोड़ी सुसज्जित पहिए हैं। इन्हें सात घोड़ों द्वारा खींचा जाता है। कोणार्क सूर्य-मन्दिर का निर्माण लाल रंग के बलुआ पत्थरों तथा काले ग्रेनाइट के पत्थरों से किया गया है। इसे युनेस्को द्वारा सन् 1984 में विश्व धरोहर स्थल घोषित किया गया है। इसके प्रवेश द्वार पर ही नट मंदिर है। सम्पूर्ण मन्दिर स्थल को बारह जोड़ी चक्रों के साथ सात घोड़ों से खींचते हुये बनाया गया है।जिसमें सूर्य देव को विराजमान दिखाया गया है।
