नई दिल्ली। अमेरिका का डेस्टिनेशन मार्केटिंग संगठन ब्रांड यूएसए ने राजधानी में एक कार्यक्रम के तहत 8वंे वार्षिक इंडिया ट्रैवल मिशन का सफल आयोजन किया। इसमें बताया गया कि अब अधिक भारतीयों द्वारा पासपोर्ट प्राप्त करने और मध्यम वर्गीय भारतीयों की संख्या बढ़ने से भारत ब्रांड यूएसए के लिए प्रमुख बाजार बन गया है। 8वंे वार्षिक इंडिया ट्रैवल मिशन में 38 अमेरिकी कंपनियों के प्रतिनिधिमंडल और 53 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया। इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल में अन्य लोगों के साथ पर्यटन बोर्ड, होटलों और टूर आॅपरेटरों के प्रतिनिधि भी शामिल थे।
इस सेल्स मिशन की सफलता पर टिप्पणी करते हुए ब्रांड यूएसए की भारत में प्रबंध निदेशक शीमा बोहरा ने कहा कि 2019 का ब्रांड यूएसए इंडिया मिशन एक यादगार समारोह रहा, जिसमें प्रत्येक शहर को हमारे भारतीय साझेदारों के साथ भावी कारोबार बढाने के उल्लेखनीय अवसर और रास्ते मिले। इस वर्ष की शानदार प्रतिभागिता से अमेरिका एक सर्वाधिक पसंदीदा पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में उभरेगा जहां पर्यटकों को कभी न भूलने वाले अनुभव मिलेंगे। अमेरिका के पर्यटन को बढ़ाने में भारत की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है, इसलिए भविष्य में हमें अपने पर्यटन उद्योग में उल्लेखनीय प्रगति होने की आशा है।
अमेरिका में भारत से आनेवाले पर्यटकों की संख्या में बढोत्तरी देखी गई है। वर्ष 2018 में रिकाॅर्ड के मुताबिक 1.4 मिलियन भारतीयों ने अमेरिका का दौरा किया, जिससे यहां आने वाले लोगों के परिप्रेक्ष्य में भारत 10वें स्थान पर आ गया है।
इसके अलावा, अमेरिका में खर्च करने वाले की बात करें, भारतीय पांचवें स्थान पर हैं। भारतीयों द्वारा किया गया खर्च वर्ष 2017 में 14.70 बिलियन डाॅलर की तुलना में वर्ष की अधिक संख्या में अमेरिका आने वाले दूसरे कई देशों के लोगों से ज्यादा अधिक है। आने वाले भविष्य में यह संख्या बढ़ने की और भी प्रचुर संभावनाएं हैं, क्योंकि वर्तमान में अमेरिका बाहरी देशों की यात्रा करने वाले भारतीयों के बाजार का लगभग 5.5 प्रतिशत ही प्राप्त कर सकता है।
