सुप्रीम कोर्ट के दिग्गज वकील फली एस नरीमन से जुड़ी दुःखद खबर सामने आई है। आज यानी कि 21 फरवरी 2024 को 95 वर्ष की आयु में उन्होंने अंतिम सास ली। आपको बता दे कि उनका जन्म 10 जनवरी 1929 को हुआ था। इन्होंने अपनी वकालत की शुरुआत 1950 में बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट से की थी| नरीमन ने 70 से अधिक वर्ष तक वकालत के पेशे को बखूबी निभाया था| फली एस नरीमन के निधन की खबर पर भारत के मुख्य न्यायधीश डी वाई चंद्रचूड़ के साथ-साथ पूरे देश और कानूनविद् ने शोक प्रकट किया है|
सीजेआई डी वाई चंद्रचूड़ जी ने अदालत की करवाई को शुरू करते हुए अटॉर्नी जनरल आर वेंकटरमणी से कहा कि मिस्टर अटॉर्नी जनरल हम फली एस नरीमन के निधन पर शोक व्यक्त करते है| वह एक महान बुद्धिजीवी थे| प्राप्त सूचना के अनुसार फली एस नरीमन हृदय रोग के साथ-साथ कई अन्य बीमारियों से भी पीड़ित थे|
नरीमन के निधन की खबर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी दुख जताया है| उन्होंने ट्वीट करके कहा कि “फली एस नरीमन उत्कृष्ट कानूनी वकील और बुद्धिजीवीयों में से थे| मुझे उनके निधन की खबर से बहुत दुःख पहुंचा है| उन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन लोगों को न्याय दिलाने में समर्पित कर दिया। मेरी संवेदनाएं उनके परिवार और उनके चाहने वालों के साथ है| भगवान उनकी आत्मा को शांति दें”|
इसके साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वरिष्ठ वकील अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी ने भी अपना दुख प्रकट करते हुए कहा कि वह लिविंग लीजेंड थे| कानून और सार्वजनिक जीवन से जुड़े लोग उन्हें याद करते रहेंगे| अपनी उपलब्धियों के साथ-साथ वो अपने सिद्धांतों पर भी अटल रहने वाले व्यक्ति थे| आपको बता दें कि फली एस नरीमन, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी की सरकार में एडिशनल सॉलिसिटर जनरल रह चुके थे और उनके बेटे रोहिंटन नरीमन भी सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वकील रह चुके है| वरिष्ठ कानूनविद् फली एस नरीमन जी को 1991 में पदम् भूषण और 2007 में पदम् विभूषण से सम्मानित किया गया था|
