हिट एंड रन कानून के विरोध में ट्रक डाइवरों की 3 दिवसीय हड़ताल
Hit and Run Law:हिट एंड रन के मामले में कड़े नियम के बाद देश भर में ट्रक ड्राइवर हड़ताल पर हैं। नए कानून के अनुसार अगर चालक किसी को हिट कर के, बिना पुलिस को सूचना दिए भाग जाता है तो उसे 10 साल की कैद और जुर्माने का प्रावधान है। सरकार के इस कड़े नियम से ट्रक ड्राइवर काफी गुस्से में है। जिस बाबत उन्होंने चक्का जाम का आवाहन किया है। उनका कहना है कि यह कानून ही गलत है। इसे जल्द से जल्द वापस लेना चाहिए। इस मांग को लेकर मुंबई, दिल्ली, हरियाणा समेत कई जगहों पर ट्रक चालकों ने अपने ट्रक खड़े कर रखे हैं।
दरअसल केंद्र सरकार ने इस अपराध को लेकर नए कानून बनाए हैं। इसमें अगर कोई ड्राइवर किसी को भी कुचलकर बिना सूचना दिए भाग जाता है तो उसे 10 साल तक की जेल हो सकती है साथ ही 7 लाख तक का जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है। आपको बता दें कि इसे पहले कानून था कि इस स्थिति में चालक को अधिकतम दो साल तक की सजा हो सकती है। ये कानून सभी प्रकार के वाहन-दुपहिया, कार, ट्रक और टैंकर सभी पर लागू होता है। मौजूदा कानून के मुताबिक इस तरह घटना में आईपीस की धारा 279 के अंतर्गत ड्राइवर की पहचान के बाद 304ए और 338 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया जाता है।
कानून में हुए बदलाव को लेकर देश भर में ड्राइवरों का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा है। ड्राइवरों का कहना है कि नए कानून के हिसाब से अगर वह मौके पर रूकेंगे तो उन्हें भीड़ के गुस्से का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। चालक संगठनों का कहना है कि इस तरह के संशोधनों से पहले स्टेक होल्डर्स से किसी भी तरह की राय नहीं गई। देश में एक्सीडेंट इन्वेस्टिगेशन प्रोटोकॉल का भारी अभाव है। इस तरह से जांच पर भी विश्वास करना मुश्किल है। उनका कहना है कि इस कानून को जल्द से जल्द वापस लिया जाए।
