FIROZ SHAH KOTLA FORT: भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली निश्चित रूप से ही दिल वालों की है। इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं क्योंकि दिल्ली अपने में हर रंग, बिरादरी , मजहब को समेट कर एक दिल्ली वाले की पहचान में रंग लेती है। आलम यह है कि भारत के इस दिल को देखने सिर्फ अपने देश से ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशों से सैलानी भी आते हैं। अपने में एक लंबे इतिहास को समेटे दिल्ली में एक ऐसा किला है जिसके एक ओर क्रिकेट स्टेडियम है तो दूसरी ओर वीरान सा टूटा-फूटा किला। हालांकि कभी यह किला दिल्ली की तकदीर लिखता था। एक वैभवशाली इमारत सा आज भी खड़ा है यह किला।
किसने बनवाया यह किला
फिरोज शाह कोटला किला को वैसे तो सिर्फ कोटला के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इसे दिल्ली के तुगलक सल्तनत के सुल्तान फ़िरोज शाह तुगलक ने अपने चाचा मुहम्मद बिन तुगलक से जबरदस्ती गद्दी छीनने के बाद सन् 1354 में करवाया था। चूकि उस वक्त तुगलकाबाद में पानी की समस्या काफी ज्यादा थी। इसलिए सुल्तान फिरोज शाह ने इसे यमुना के किनारे बनवाया था। यह दिल्ली का 6ठा शहर था।

फिरोज शाह कोटला किले में वैसे तो बहुत सारे सैलानी आते हैं लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि सप्ताह में एक दिन् ऐसा भी है जिस दिन यहां लोग कुछ खास मकसद से आते हैं। मकसद भी ऐसा कि अगर आपने देख लिया तो आपकी रूहें कांप जाए। जी हां गुरुवार के दिन लोग यहां किसी इंसान या बाबा से मिलने नहीं आते बल्कि यहां रहने वाले जिन्न से अपनी मुराद पूरी करवाने की मिन्नतें लेकर आते हैं।
इतिहास में जिक्र है कि इमरजेंसी के दौरान इस किले में लड्डू शाह नाम के एक बाबा रहने लगे थे। उन्होंने कोटला किले के बारे में अपने शागिर्दों को बताया था कि यहां जिन्नों का वास है और ये जिन्न सबकी इच्छाओ को पूरा करते हैं। फिर क्या था। तभी से यहां आपको कई ऐसे लोग मिल जाएंगे कि जो अपनी तमन्नाओं को एक चिठ्ठी में लिखकर यहां के जिन्नों तक पहुंचाते हैं। और वो जिन्न सबकी मुरादों को पूरा करते हैं। फिरोज शाह कोटला किले में नीचे की तरफ कुछ कमरे बने हुए हैं। हालांकि इन्हें कोरोना के बाद बंद कर दिया गया है लेकिन कहते हैं इससे पहले यहां लोग चिराग जलाते हुए मिल जाते थे। यहां आने वाले लोगों को अधिक मात्रा में इत्र लगाने से भी मना किया जाता है। कहते हैं ज्यादा इत्र यहां के जिन्नों को आपकी ओर आकर्षित करता है और वो आपके ऊपर कब्जा कर सकते हैं। मान्यता है कि जिन्न हजारों सालों तक जी सकते हैं और अपनी परिवार भी चला सकते हैं।
हालांकि इन तथ्यों को लेकर भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण विभाग इसे लोगों की मान्यताओं पर आधारित बताता रहा है। जिसका कोई साक्ष्य मौजूद नहीं है। उनका कहना है कि स्थिति चाहे जो हो उनका काम देश की विरासत को संभालना है।
