दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के शिवाजी कॉलेज में “हिन्दी में हस्ताक्षर अभियान” की धूम, प्रधानाचार्य श्री वीरेन्द्र भारद्वाज ने कहा- “हिन्दी भारत है और भारत हिन्दी है”
“द हिन्दी” की टीम ने जब अपने अंतरराष्ट्रीय अभियान हिन्दी में हस्ताक्षर के लिए दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के शिवाजी कॉलेज की ओर रूख किया तो वहां की व्यवस्था तथा प्रधानाचार्य सहित अन्य कर्मियों के उत्साहित भाव को देख कर मन गदगद होने से नहीं रोक पाया। पूरे प्रांगण ने द हिन्दी की टीम का दिल खोलकर स्वागत किया और पूरे मन से उनके अभियान में अपनी भूमिका निभाई।
इस दौरान शिवाजी कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य श्री वीरेन्द्र भारद्वाज जी का आवोभगत अतुलनीय था। पूरे कॉलेज में शिक्षा तथा उससे जुड़े कार्यक्रमों की गूंज सुनाई दे रही थी। प्रशासनिक अधिकारी से लेकर उपस्थित सभी शिक्षक गण पूरे हृदय-तल से हिन्दी में हस्ताक्षर अभियान में बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा ले रहे थे।
इस संवाद कार्यक्रम में द हिन्दी की टीम की ओर से संस्था के प्रबंध संपादक श्री तरूण शर्मा जी, द हिन्दी के संपादक कुमार गोविंद कृष्ण तथा अन्य सहकर्मी मीना और शिवम ने भाग लिया । संवाद कार्यक्रम के दौरान शिवाजी कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य श्री वीरेन्द्र भारद्वाज जी ने भारत, संस्कृति, युवा और हिन्दी को लेकर अपने अनमोल विचार भी साझा किए। इस दौरान द हिन्दी के संपादक कुमार गोविंद कृष्ण के साथ साक्षात्कार में श्री वीरेन्द्र भारद्वाज जी ने हिन्दी को भारत की पहचान के रूप रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिन्दी भारत की पहचान है और भारत हिन्दी की। उन्होंने एक प्रश्न का उत्तर देते हुए कहा कि जैसे किसी भी व्यक्ति के लिए दूसरी कोई भी महिला, चाहे वह कितनी भी मजबूत व्यक्तित्व की क्यूं ही ना हो, को अपनी मां ही अच्छी, प्यारी और मनभावन लगती है। वैसे ही भारत में हिन्दी की स्थिति है। ये एक दूसरे का पर्याय हैं।
उन्होंने जोर देते हुए एक और बात कही कि हिन्दी को किसी भी दूसरी भाषा से बैर नहीं है। समय बस स्वयं की स्थिति को मान देने की है। आज के समय की आवश्यकता बस इतनी है कि युवाओं को पहले अपने भाषा को मान देना है और फिर स्वयं का और इसका विकास करना है।
