FACTS ABOUT INDIA: भारत कोई एक देश मात्र नहीं बल्कि अपने में दुनिया की सबसे पुरानी संस्कृतियों में से एक सजग और जीवंत उदाहरण के तौर पर आज भी खड़ा है। आइये जानते हैं अपने देश भारत के बारे में कुछ रोचक तथ्य।
1.भारत ने बीते एक लाख साल में किसी भी देश पर अपनी ओर हमला नहीं किया है। जब तक कि भारत पर किसी देश ने हमला नहीं किया भारत युद्ध में नहीं कूदा। भारत की संस्कृति स्वयं में वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् में विश्वास करने वाली संस्कृति है।
2.आज दुनिया भर में मस्तिष्क की शक्ति और बुद्धिमता का खेल शतरंज की शुरूआत भारत में ही हुई थी।
3.क्या आपको पता है लूडो के एक तरफ बना खेल, सांप-सीढ़ी का खेल तेरहवीं शताब्दी में संत और कवि ज्ञानदेव के द्वार तैयार किया गया था। आपको पता हो कि इस खेल को पहले के जमाने में कौड़ियों तथा पांसो की मदद से खेला जाता था। समय के साथ इस खेल में कई बदलाव भी हुए। इस खेल में सीढ़ियां जहां वरदानों का घोतक है तो वहीं सांप अवगुणों को दर्शाता है। सीढ़ियों की मदद से ऊपर की ओर चढ़ना अच्छे कर्म को बताता है और सांप द्वारा काटा जाना बुरे कर्मों के प्रभाव से दोबारा जन्म के बंधन में फंसना है।
4.क्या आपको पता है कि दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा क्रिकेट का मैदान हमारे देश भारत के उत्तरी राज्य हिमाचल प्रदेश में है। हिमाचल को हम देवता का नगरी भी कहते हैं। हिमाचल प्रदेश के चायल नाम के स्थान पर यह क्रिकेट का मैदान है। यह समुद्री सतह से 2444 मीटर ऊंचा है। यह पूरी तरह से बनकर 1893 में तैयार हो गया था।
5.दुनिया में संवाद को दूसरे स्थान तक पहुंचाने की कला डाक की कला रही है। चाहे यह कबूतर की मदद से हो या यह फिर मानवीय विकास के साथ बढी डाक सेवा से। लेकिन आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी कि पूरे विश्व में सबसे ज्यादा डाक खाने यानी कि पोस्ट ऑफिस भारत में ही है।
6.दुनिया में जीवन का यापन तब होता है जब हम रोजगार करते हैं। बिना रोजगार के जीवन जीना इतना आसान नहीं । लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि भारतीय रेल दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा नियोक्ता है। यानी कि रोजगार देने वाला उद्म। भारतीय रेल लगभग दस लाख से ज्यादा लोगों को रोजगार उपलब्ध करवाता है।
7.कहते हैं शिक्षा ही वह अस्त्र है जिससे मनुष्य स्वयं को जानवर की श्रेणी से विलग कर पाता है। नहीं तो मानव में भी पशु व्यवहार साश्वत ही है। इसलिए तो विश्व का सर्वप्रथम विश्वविधालय भारत के तक्षशिला में खुला था। इस लगभग 700 बीसी के आसपास स्थापित किया गया था। 60 से ज्यादा विषयों की शिक्षा दी जाती थी यहां। दुनियाभर से 10 हजार से भी अधिक छात्र यहाँ आकर शिक्षा ग्रहण किया करते थे।
8.मानवों की आरंभिक चिकित्सा पद्धति में से एक है भारत का आर्युविज्ञान। भारत के चरक ऋषि ने 2500 साल पहेल आर्युवेद का समेकन किया था।
9.17 वीं शताब्दी से पहले भारत को सोने की चिड़ियां कहा जाता था। भारतीय इतिहास की पुस्तकों में जानकारी दी गई है कि जब भारत में पहली बार वास्कोडिगामा ने कदम रखा तो वह यहाँ के उच्च स्तरीय जीवन पद्धति को देख दंग रह गया। उसे यहां आने में जितना खर्च लगा था उसका 400 गुणा वहां यहां से उपहार के रूप में ले गया। जिसे देख कर ही सारे यूरोपीय को भारत आने का मन करने लगा था।
10.पृथ्वी गोल है। आधुनिक विज्ञान ने जब इस बात को पूरे दुनिया को बताया था उससे कई सौ साल पहले ही पृथ्वी गोल है और यह सूर्य के चारों ओर चक्कर लगाता है, भास्कराचार्य ने बताया था। उनकी गणना के अनुसार सूर्य की परिक्रमा करने में पृथ्वी को 365.258 दिन लगते हैं।
11.पाई का मान यूरोपीय गणितज्ञों से बहुत पहले भारतीय गणितज्ञ बुधायन ने ज्ञात कर लिया था। इसकी खोज छठी शताब्दी में कर ली गई थी। पाई की संकल्पनाको ही पाइथागोरस का प्रमेय के रूप में बताया जाता है।
12.चतुष्पद समीकरण के बारे में 11 वीं शताब्दी में ही श्रीधराचार्य ने बताया था। क्या आपको पता है कि ग्रीक और रोमन सभ्यता में सबसे बड़ी संख्या 106 थी। लेकिन भारत के शास्त्रों में हजारों साल पहले ही 10 की घात 53 के बारे में देखा गया है। आज भी उपयोग में ली जाने वाली संख्या टेरा यानी कि 10 की घात 12 ही है।
13.बेलीपुल विश्व में सबसे ऊंच पुल है। यह हिमाचल प्रदेश में द्रास और सुरू नदियों के बीच लद्दाख घाटी में स्थित है। इसका निर्माण 1982 में भारतीय सेना ने किया था।
14.विश्व के सबसे पहले प्लास्टिक सर्जन महर्षि सुश्रुत को कहा जाता है। आज से लगभग 2600 वर्ष पहले सुश्रुत ने अस्थिभंग जोड़ना तथा मस्तिष्क आदि को जोड़ने की कला का विकास कर लिया था।
15.भारत दुनिया का एकमात्र ऐसा देश है जहां एक साथ चार धर्मों का जन्म हुआ है। हिन्दू, बौद्ध, जैन तथा सिक्ख। ये सभी दुनिया का 25 प्रतिशत जनसंख्या का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं।
16.भारत में किसी भी अन्य देश यहां तक कि किसी भी अन्य मुस्लिम देश से ज्यादा मस्जिदें हैं। इनकी संख्या 3 लाख के आसपास है।
17.भारत का सबसे पुराना यूरोपीय चर्च औऱ सिनागोना कोचीन शहर में है। इनका निर्माण 1503 तथा 1568 ई. में किया गया था।
18.विश्व के सबसे पुराना शहर कौन है। क्या आपको पता है। जी हां वाराणसी जिसे आप बनारस कहते हैं सबसे पुराना शहर है जो आज भी अस्तित्व में है।
19.योग कला का उद्भव भारत में 5000 साल से भी अधिक समय से पहले हो गया था।
20.संख्या प्रणाली का आविष्कार भारत द्वारा किया गया था। भारत के ही आर्यभट्ट ने अंकों में शून्य की खोज कर संख्या निर्माण की कला को जीवन प्रदान किया था।
