भारत ने तेल के बदले UAE को किया रूपए में भुगतान, देशी मुद्रा की मजबूती की ओर एक ठोस कदम
RUPEES VRS DOLLARS IN INTERNATIONL MARKET: भारत ने रूपए को मजबूत बनाने के उद्देश्य से एक बड़ी छलांग लगाई है। इसने पहली बार संयुक्त अरब अमीरात से कच्चे तेल खरीद के बदले भुगतान डॉलर में ना करके रूपए में किया है। भारत के इस कदम के बाद रूपये के अंतराष्ट्रीय बाजार में मजबूत स्थिति होने के आसार हैं। हालांकि किसी भी मुद्रा की स्थिति, इसके वैश्विक लेन-देन और मांग पर निर्भर करती है। आपको बता दें कि भारत अपनी 80 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा तेल की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए बाहर के देशों पर निर्भर रहता है। जिसके लिए उसे बड़े स्तर पर डॉलर पर निर्भर रहना पड़ता है।
बीते समझौते में इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन ने अबू धाबी के नेशनल ऑयल कंपनी से कुल 10 लाख बैरल कच्चे तेल की खरीदारी की थी, जिसका भुगतान रूपए में किया गया। इसके अलावे पिछले दिनों में रूस से खरीदे गए तेल का भी आंशिक भुगतान रूपए में किया गया था। भारत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाजार में अपनी मुद्रा की मजबूती के लिए और अपने बैलेंस सीट को मेनटेन करने के लिए इस तरह के सौदों की तलाश में रहता है।
हालांकि वैश्विक स्तर पर डॉलर के इकलौते प्रभुत्व को कम करने के उद्देश्य से कई अन्य देश भी इस तरह के डील करते रहते हैं। इससे डॉलर के मुकाबले स्थानीय मुद्रा की स्थिति मजबूत होती है और उक्त देश को अपने आयात-निर्यात के बीच के अंतर को कम करने में मद्द मिलती है। इसी कड़ी भारत अपने अन्य व्यापारिक साझेदारों के साथ रूपए में भुगतान को लेकर बातचीत जारी रखे हुए है। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने पिछले वर्षों में सीमा पार भुगतान के लिए रूपए के उपयोग की अनुमति दी है। इसके लिए अब तक लगभग 20 से ज्यादा देशों के साथ रूपए में व्यापार किया जा रहा है। दरअसल भारत के इस कदम से ना केवल रूपए का प्रचलन बढ़ेगा बल्कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर डॉलर की मांग में कमी लाने में भी मदद मिलेगी। इससे भारतीय मुद्रा में गिरावट को भी कम किया जा सकेगा।
