ठंड और जयपुरिया रजाई, याद आई की नहीं आई
Jaipuria razai: देश में सर्दी ने दस्तक दे दी है। रात को ठंड भी पड़नी शुरू हो गई है। ऐसे में ठंड के साथ किसी चीज का नाम सबसे पहले जुड़ता है तो वह है रजाई। रजाई को लेकर सोचो तो ऐसे लगता है जैसे ठंड,रजाई और अलाव का एक अलग ही नाता रहा है। इसलिए तो फिल्म से लेकर आम जीवन और आम जीवन से लेकर साहित्य तक ने इस त्रिकोण को अपने एहसास में काफी तव्वजो दी है। रजाई के इस सफर में आपने सबसे ज्यादा किसी रजाई के बारे में सुनी होगा तो वह होगी जयपुर की रजाई। आम रजाई से थोड़ी महंगी होने के बाद भी इसे लोगों का इतना प्यार मिलता रहा है। आखिर क्या कारण है इसके पीछे।
दरअसल, जयपुर की रजाई अपने में काफी खास है । जयपुर की इस रजाई में एक खास किस्म की रूई भरी जाती है। खास किस्म की रूई के साथ-साथ इसके खोल के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया गया कपड़ा भी काफी हल्का होता है। जिस कारण यह वजन में काफी हल्की होती है। इस रजाई की खासियत है कि यह वजन के हिसाब से ही बेची जाती है। वैसे तो आम रजाई में करीब 3 से 4 किलो तक रूई का इस्तेमाल होता है। लेकिन इसमें इसके उलट जयपुर के रजाई का वजन मात्र 250 ग्राम से लेकर 600 ग्राम तक ही सीमित रहता है। आप इसके वजन पे बिल्कुल भी मत जाना। इस वजन में भी यह बहुत ही गर्म होती है।
हल्की होने के बाद भी इतनी गर्म कि तेज ठंड में भी आप इस हल्की पर बेहतरीन रजाई से अपना काम निकाल सकते हैं। इसके कॉटन का कपड़ा भी गजब का फील देता है। जिस कारण इसे हर कोई खरीदना चाहता है। इसका कंफर्ट और गरमी सब के दिलों पर राज करता है। जयपुर के रजाई के इतिहास को खंगालने पर पता चलता है कि जयपुर के संस्थापक मिर्जा राजा सवाई जयसिंह ने जयपुर को बसाने के बाद कई सारी कलाओं को प्रश्रय दिया था। उन्हीं में से एक शिल्पी स्वर्गीय इलाही बक्श जो कि राजघरानों के लिए रजाईयां बनाने का काम करते थे, से ये राजघराने से आम जनता तक पहुंची।
कभी राजा-रजवाड़ो के लिए तैयार होने वाली जयपुरी रजाई धीरे-धीरे आम लोगों की पसंद बन गई। देश से ही नहीं विदेश से आए लोगों के बीच भी यह काफी लोकप्रीय है। विदेशी सैलानी जब कभी जयपुर आते हैं तो अपने साथ इसे ले जाना नहीं भूलते। हालांकि देश के इस नायाब कला को लेकर प्रशासनिक स्तर पर उपेक्षा का शिकार होना पड़ा है। स्थानीय व्यापार को राष्ट्रीय स्तर तक पहुंचाने में एक मजबूत मदद की अपेक्षा है। नकली रजाईयों के बाजार ने भी इसे बहुत हद तक प्रभावित किया है। महंगी रूई , कपड़े की बढ़ती कीमत, टैक्स आदि के कारण इसके मांग में कमी देखी गई है। कभी उपहार स्वरूप दी जाने वाली ये रजाई देश के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा जी को भी काफी पसंद थी। इसने जयपुर को पूरे विश्व में एक अलग पहचान दिलाई है। इतिहास के कालखंड में यह रजाई पाव (250gm) भर वजन की भी हुआ करती थी और इसमें केसर व कस्तूरी के इत्र का प्रयोग किया जाता था। ताकि ये लम्बे समय तक खुशबू देती रहे। कहते हैं माधो सिंह द्वितीय जब इंग्लैंड गए थे तो अपने दोस्तों के लिए मात्र 58 ग्राम रूई की रजाईयां ले गए थे।
