आजकल दुनिया में सबको चांद पर पहुंचने की होड़ मची है। हाल ही में भारत ने अपना चंद्रयान-3 मिशन पूरा किया है। चंद्रयान-3 की सफलता के बाद भारत दुनिया में ऐसा करने वाला चौथा देश बन गया है। अब इस रेस में जापान भी अपनी किस्मत आजमाना चाहता है। जापान का चंद्रयान मिशन आज तड़के भारतीय स्थानीय मानक समय के अनुसार सुबह के 8:42 पर लॉन्च हुआ।

जापान अपने इस चंद्रयान मिशन को लेकर काफी उत्साहित है। जापान का भी सपना रहा है कि वह ऐसा करने वाले सफल देशों की लिस्ट में अपना नाम देखें। सबकुछ ठीक रहा तो। जापान अपने चंद्रयान मिशन जैसे SLIM मिशन का लगभग 3 से 4 महिन में सफलता का जश्न मना रहा होगा। जापान ने अपने चंद्रयान जैसे मिशन में एक लैंडर स्मार्ट लैंडर फॉर इनवेस्टिगेंटिंग मून(SLIM) भी लगाया है। जापान के इस चंद्रयान जैसे मिशन का लैंडर लगभग एक साल बाद चांद पर उतरेगा।

जापान ने जिस रॉकेट से चंद्रयान जैसे मिशन को लॉन्च किया। उसमें एक टेलिस्कॉप और एक लैंडर भी है। ।जापान के यह चंद्रयान जैसा लैंडर SLIM वजन में काफी हल्का है।जापान एयरोस्पेस एक्सपलोरेशन एजेंसी(JAXA) ने तनेगाशिमा स्पेस सेंटर से इस रॉकेट को छोड़ा है। जापान का यह स्पस सेंटर इसके दक्षिणी हिस्से में स्थित है।
भारत के साथ कड़ा मुकाबला
हाल ही भारत ने सफल चंद्रयान मिशन लॉन्च किया है । भारत के इस सफल चंद्रयान मिशन और विक्रम लैंडर के दक्षिण ध्रुव पे सफलतापूर्वक लैंडिंग के बाद जापान के लिए SLIM को सफल लैंडिंग कराना एक चुनौती जैसा होगा। रूस के लूना-25 मिशन (luna mission) के क्रैश के बाद सारी दुनिया की नज़र भारत के चंद्रयान मिशन और विक्रम लैंडर पर टिकी थी । अब सारी दुनिया की नज़र जापान की SLIM मिशन पर है। ऐसे में जापान के लिए यह एक बड़ी चुनौती होगी की वह इसके सफल लैंडिंग में कोई कसर ना छोड़े। अगर जापान SLIM को सफलतापूर्वक उतार पाया तो वह पूरी दुनिया में ऐसा करने वाला पांचवा देश बन जायेगा।
