ब्रिटिश लिंगुआ में कारगिल विजय दिवस मनाया गया
देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के लक्ष्मी नगर स्थित ब्रिटिश लिंगुआ में गत 26 जुलाई को कारगिल विजय दिवस मनाया गया. इस अवसर पर भारतीय सेना के सेवानिवृत्त जूनियर कमीशंड ऑफिसर जगत पाल सिंह को ‘ऑनर ऑफ़ ब्रेवरी’ सम्मान से नवाज़ा गया. जगत पाल सिंह ने भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच 1999 में लड़े गए कारगिल युद्ध में 84 एम्एम् रॉकेट लॉन्चर, जिसे काल गुस्ताख के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, का इस्तेमाल किया था. उन्हें यह पुरस्कार दिल्ली में ब्रिटिश लिंग्वा द्वारा आयोजित कारगिल विजय दिवस पर सेवानिवृत्त आईपीएस आरके झा द्वारा दिया गया.
सम्मान प्राप्त करते हुए जेपी सिंह ने कहा “मैं इस सम्मान के लिए लिंग्वा परिवार का आभारी रहूँगा और मैं यहां कारगिल विजय दिवस समारोह का हिस्सा बनकर बेहद खुश हूं. साथ ही राष्ट्रीय राजधानी-दिल्ली में इस तरह के देशभक्ति आधारित कार्यक्रम के लिए लिंग्वा परिवार की सराहना करता हूं. ”
इस अवसर पर सभा को संबोधित करते हुए आरके झा, जो पिछले साल दिल्ली सरकार से अतिरिक्त सतर्कता आयुक्त के रूप में सेवानिवृत्त हुए, ने समारोह में उपस्थित युवाओं में देशभक्ति की भावना पैदा करने की कोशिश करते हुए कहा कि ‘राष्ट्रहित व्यक्तिगत हित से ऊपर होना चाहिए.’
नौकरशाह से बने सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्री आर के झा ने बिली ग्राहम की उक्ति को उद्धृत करते कहा कि “जब धन खो जाता है, तो कुछ भी नहीं खोता है; जब स्वास्थ्य खो जाता है, तो कुछ खो जाता है; जब एक चरित्र खो जाता है, तो सब कुछ खो जाता है.” अतएव आज के युवाओं को जीवन में स्वच्छता, पवित्रता एवं ईमानदारी को अपनाना चाहिए. यही सार्थक उद्धरण जीवन का रामबाण है और इसी से जीवन में खुशियां मिलती हैं.
मिथिला के ‘यंगेस्ट लिविंग लीजेंड’ रूप में अपनी विशिष्ट पहचान बनाने वाले प्रसिद्ध लेखक और लिंगुआ परिवार के प्रमुख डॉ॰ बीरबल झा ने कहा “हम रात में चैन से सो पाते हैं क्योंकि हमारे देश की सीमा की सुरक्षा हमारे वीर सैनिक करते हैं। देश को किसी भी तरह के घुसपैठ और आक्रमण से सुरक्षित रखने के लिए हमारे सैनिक अपने जीवन का बलिदान करने से भी नहीं डरते। कहते हैं एक आम आदमी ज़िन्दगी में भले कई बार मरता हो, मगर एक सच्चा वीर सैनिक अपने जीवन में केवल एक बार मरता है। इसलिए हमें उनकी अदम्य साहस और वीरता को सलाम करना चाहिए। उनके बलिदान और देशभक्ति पर हमे गर्व करना चाहिए।”
इस अवसर पर गीत “जश्न-ए-हिंदुस्तान” ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। इस गाने की गायिका ज्योति मिश्रा हैं, जबकि गीतकार डॉ॰ बीरबल झा हैं |
