जब सच कहने की सजा मिली किशोर कुमार और देवानंद को
क्या आपको पता है कि पाश्र्व गायक किशोर कुमार के गाने पर रोक लिया दिया गया था ? घटना उस समय की है, जब देश में आपातकाल लगाया गया था. उस समय उनके गाने पर से रोक हटाने में बाॅलीवुड अभिनेता देव आनंद की बड़ी भूमिका था. कुछ याद आया ? नहीं… कोई बात नहीं. आइए, हम पूरी कहानी बताते हैं.
उस समय किशोर कुमार ने हामी तो भर दी, लेकिन कांग्रेस सरकार सरकार के दौर में गाना पर से रोक हट नहीं रही थी. जब इस केस के लिए जाँच दल बैठी तो, वी.सी शुक्ला ने सारी जिम्मेदारी खुद पर ले ली. उन्होंने कहा कि इसमें किसी ऑफिसर की गलती नहीं है, किसी पर भी दोष नहीं लगाया जाए. जब यह बात सर्वोच्च न्यायलय में पहुंची, तो उनको भी बहुत बड़ा झटका लगा.

असल में, 18 जनवरी, 1977 को इंदिरा गाँधी ने मार्च में चुनाव करने का एलान किया. इसके बाद तो मानो सबको तानाशाही से आजाद होना हो. 23 मार्च, 1977 में जनता दल पार्टी ने जीत हासिल कर सत्ता की लगाम थामी. देश में पहली बार कोई ऐसा प्रधानमंत्री बना जो कांग्रस पार्टी का नहीं था. मोरारजी देसाई के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद देश और साथ ही साथ किशोर कुमार ने भी की सांस ली. सत्ता में आने के बाद जनता दल ने उन तमाम आदेश पर रोक लगाई, जो आपातकाल में ली गई थी और जिससे लोगों का नुकसान हो रहा था.
किशोर कुमार के केस के बारे में सबको पता था. जनता दल ने ये फैसला लिया कि किशोर कुमार पर लगाया बैन हटा दिया जाए. जो दल इस केस की जाँच कर रही थी उसको खत्म कर किशोर कुमार का बैन हटाया गया. इस बात से कुशोर कुमार तो खुश थे ही, उनके साथ उनके समर्थक, उनके चाहने वाले और जनता सभी खुशी से झूम उठे थे. सिर्फ किशोर कुमार ही नहीं, देव आनंद ने भी आपातकाल में अहम भूमिका निभाई थी.
‘पल भर के लिए कोई हमें प्यार कर ले झूठा ही सही’, ‘गाता रहे मेरा दिल’, ‘ऐसे न मुझे तुम देखो’, जैसे गानों से प्यार की बौछार करने वाले सदाबहार अभिनेता देव आनंद जिनपर हसिनाएं जान लुटाती थीं, जिन्हें देखकर लड़कियां मर-मिटती थी, जिनको लोग प्यार से देवसाहब कहते हैं, उन्होंने आपातकाल के समय में कुछ ऐसा किया की लोग उनके और दिवाने हो गए.
देव आनंद जूझते रहे आपातकाल में
किशोर कुमार की तरह ही देव आनंद को भी आपातकाल के समर्थन में दूरदर्शन पर बोलने को कहा गया था. लेकिन देव साहब ने भी इस बात का खुलकर विरोध किया. केवल उन्हांेने ही नहीं, उनके दोनों भाई चेतन आनंद और विजय आनद भी इसमें कूद पड़े और देव साहब के साथ मिलकर भाषण दिया.
मुंबई के जुहू में भाषण दे रहे देव साहब को लोगों का भरपूर समर्थन मिला. देव साहब ने अपने भाषण में इंदिरा गाँधी और उनके बेटे संजय गाँधी पर जमकर तंज कसा. इन दोनांे के निरंकुश व्यवहार की आलोचना की. भीड़ तो देव आनंद को समर्थन दे रही थी, लेकिन जब देव आनंद के भाई भाषण देने आये तो उन्होंने मानो गरम लोहे पर हथौड़ा मार दिया. उन्होंने सरकार को चुनौती कि उनको और उनके भाई देव आनंद को गिरफ्तार करने की.
इनके भाषण से ‘जय प्रकाश नारायण’ और ‘सत्यजीत रे’ दोनों बहुत प्रभावित हुए. इन्हें सिनेमा जगत के अभिनेता प्राण, हृषिकेश मुखर्जी, शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा, डैनी और साधना ने अपना पूरा समर्थन दिया. इन सब ने मिलकर एक पार्टी बनाई जिसका नाम था नेशनल पार्टी. ये पहली और आखिरी ऐसी पार्टी थी जसको सिनेमा जगत के लोगों ने किसी मकसद के लिए बनाया था. शत्रुघ्न सिन्हा ने कहा “यह देवसाहब का एक स्पष्ट आह्वान था. हम लोकतंत्र के लिए लड़ने वाले थे. मैंने उसका पूरा समर्थन किया”.
देवसाहब के भाषण के बाद सरकार ने उनके काम में बहुत अड़चने डाली. देश-परदेश के शूटिंग के दौरान देवसाहब को बहुत दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ा. पर देवसाहब ने हर मुश्किलों का डट कर सामना किया लेकिन सरकार के सामने झुके नहीं. देवसाहब के इस होसले की दाद देनी पड़ेगी.
