भाषा का इस्तेमाल विभाजन के लिए नहीं, देश को जोड़ने के लिए हो : मोदी
नई दिल्ली। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शुक्रवार को भारत को एकजुट करने के लिए भाषा के उपयोग की वकालत करते हुए कहा कि देश में विभाजन पैदा करने के लिए निहित स्वार्थों के चलते अकसर भाषा का गलत इस्तेमाल किया गया है। मोदी ने मीडिया को भी अलग-अलग भाषा बोलने वाले लोगों को करीब लाने के लिए सेतु की भूमिका निभाने की सलाह दी।
कोच्चि में मलयाला मनोरमा न्यूज कॉन्क्लेव को यहां से वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि सदियों से भाषा ऐसे अधिकतर लोकप्रिय विचारों का बहुत सशक्त माध्यम रही है जो समय और दूरी के साथ प्रवाहित होते रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘भारत दुनिया में संभवत: एकमात्र ऐसा देश है जहां इतनी भाषाएं हैं। एक तरीके से तो यह शक्ति को बढ़ाने वाली बात है। लेकिन देश में विभाजन की कृत्रिम दीवारें पैदा करने के कुछ निहित स्वार्थों की वजह से भाषा का गलत उपयोग भी होता रहा है।’’
मोदी ने कहा कि क्या भाषा की शक्ति का उपयोग भारत को एक करने के लिए नहीं किया जा सकता ? उन्होंने संबोधन में कहा, ‘‘यह इतना मुश्किल नहीं है जितना दिखता है। हम देशभर में बोली जाने वाली 10-12 विभिन्न भाषाओं में एक शब्द प्रकाशित करने के साथ सामान्य तरीके से शुरूआत कर सकते हैं। एक साल में एक व्यक्ति भिन्न-भिन्न भाषाओं में 300 से ज्यादा नये शब्द सीख सकता है। जब कोई व्यक्ति कोई दूसरी भारतीय भाषा सीखता है तो उसे समान सूत्र पता चलेंगे और वाकई भारतीय संस्कृति में एकात्मता को बल मिलेगा।’’ प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि इस तरीके से हरियाणा के लोग मलयालम सीख सकते हैं और कर्नाटक वाले बांग्ला सीख सकते हैं।
