RBI AND UPI LIMIT IN HOSPITALS: भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ( आरबीआई ) ने शुक्रवार को यूपाआई भुगतान को लेकर एक बड़ा एलान किया है। आरबीआई ने अस्पतालों और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में यूपीआई पेमेंट करने की सीमा को बढ़ाते हुए पांच लाख रुपए कर दिया है। दिसंबर की द्विमासिक मौद्रिक नीति की घोषणा करते हुए रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (यूपीआई) को लेकर भी समीक्षा की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि अब अस्पतालों और शिक्षण संस्थानों में भुगतान के लिए यूपाआई की लेनदेन की सीमा को एक लाख से बढ़ाकर पांच लाख करने का प्रस्ताव किया गया है।

उन्होंने कहा कि यूपीआई भुगतान की बढ़ी हुई सीमा से उपभोक्ता बड़े रकम को आसानी से भुगतान कर सकेंगे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि आज के समय में आवर्ती भुगतान के लिए ई-मैंडेट काफी लोकप्रीय हो गया है। हालांकि ई-मैंडेट फ्रेमवर्क के तहत 15 हजार से अधिक रकम के लिए ऑथेंटिकेशन आवश्यक है। शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि म्यूचल फंड, इंश्योरेंस और क्रेडिट कार्ड की भुगतान के लिए भी इस सीमा को बढ़ाकर पांच लाख करने का प्रस्ताव है।

रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने यह भी कहा कि फिनटेक की बेहतर समझ के लिए फिनटेक रिपॉजिटरी भी खोली जाएगी। रिजर्व बैंक इस बाबत अप्रैल 2024 के आसपास इसका परिचालन शुरू कर सकता है। आपको बता दें कि भारत में बैंक और एनबीएफसी जैसी वित्तीय संस्थाएं फिनटेक कंपनियों के साथ तेजी से साझेदारी कर रही हैं। रिजर्व बैंक वित्तीय क्षेत्र की बेहतर सुविधा के लिए क्लाउडिंग पर तेजी से काम कर रहा है। आजकल बैंक जैसी संस्थाओं के पास लगातार डेटा का लोड बढ़ रहा है। जिसके लिए बेहतर क्लाउड सुविधा जरूरी है। इससे जहां डेटा सुरक्षा में विस्तार होगा वहीं बेहतर निरंतर व्यावसाय से बाजार में भी विस्तार होगा।
