‘मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा’ से बने पहचान हमारा
देश आजाद हुए 41 साल हो गए थे. राजीव गाँधी लाल किले पर भाषण दे रहे थे. पूरा देश आजादी के उत्सव में डूबा हुआ था. उस समय राजीव गाँधी के भाषण के बाद दूरदर्शन पर एक गीत प्रस्तुत हुआ. लोग अपने टी.वी के सामने बैठ गए. जो लोग दूर से सुन रहे थे, वे भी टी.वी तक खींचे चले आए. हर राज्य में हर किसी के टी.वी पर बस एक ही संगीत बज रह था ‘मिले सर मेरा तुम्हारा, तो सुर बने हमारा’.

बादलों का रूप ले कर बरसे हल्के हल्के

राग भैरवी में गाया गया ये गीत हमें बताता है कि भारत अनेकता में एकता का देश है. भले ही हमारी भाषा अलग हो, हमारे राज्य अलग हो पर हम एक हैं. साल 1988 में आए इस गाने की सोच सुरेश मल्लिक और कैलाश सुरेंद्रनाथ की थी और इसे निर्देश कैलाश सुरेंद्रनाथ ने किया था. गाने को अशोक पटकी ने बनाया और इसके बोल पियूष पाण्डेय ने लिखे. बोल लिख दिए गए और संगीत भी बन गया पर समस्या ये थे कि 15 भाषा वाले इस गीत को किस तरह सजाया जाए ? तब लुईस बैंक्स ने इन भाषाओं को इस गीत में सही स्थान दिया.
संगीत जगत के अनेक महारथियों ने इस गाने को एक सुर में गाकर इसको एक अलग पहचान दे दी. पंडित श्री भीमसेन जोशी, श्री एम. बालमुरलिकृष्ण, लता मंगेशकर, कविता कृष्णामूर्ति, शुभांगी बोस और सुचित्रा मित्रा के द्वारा गाया गया यह गाना हमें संगीत की दुनिया से जोड़ते हुए यह एहसास दिलाता है कि हम भारतीयों के रोम-रोम में भारत बसता है.
इस गाने को कई सुपरस्टार्स पर फिल्माया गया है. कमल हसन, अमिताभ बच्चन, हेमा मालिनी, लता मंगेशकर, जीतेंद्र, मिथुन चक्रवर्ती, शर्मिला टैगोर, मल्लिका साराभाई, पंडित भीमसेन जोशी, तनूजा, एम.बलामुरालिकृष्ण, मिनाक्षी शेषाद्री, रेवती, प्रकाश पादुकोण, के.आर.विजया, वहीदा रहमान, शबाना आजमी, दीपा साही, ओम पुरी, अरुण लाल, पमनाथन कृष्णन, एस वेंकटराघवन, सुहासिनी, उत्तम मोहंती, चुनी गोस्वामी, प्रदीप कुमार बनर्जी, नीरेंद्रनाथ चक्रवर्ती, सुनील गंगोपाध्याय, गुरुबक्स सिंह, अनंदाशंकर, प्रताप पोतेन, जावेद अख्तर, गीतांजलि और नरेंद्र हीरवाणी ने इस गाने में अपनी भूमिका निभाई है.
इस गाने की शुरुआत पंडित भीमसेन जोशी से होती है, जो झरने के पास अपने सुरों को बिखेरते दिखाई देते हैं. एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान इसके निर्देशक कैलाश ने यह बताया था कि ये वही झरना है, जहां प्रसिद्ध लिरिल के प्रचार को फिल्माया गया था. अपने काम के प्रति कैलाश का प्रेम इतना था कि जब ताज महल को फिल्माया जाना था, तब ये एयरबेस चले गए और आई.ए.एफ होलिकाॅप्टर से इसको फिल्माया. वहीं, दूसरी तरफ कमल हसन इस गाने में आपको समुद्री तट पर संगीत सुनते दिखाई देंगे. कमल हसन इस गाने में शामिल नहीं होना चाहते थे, लेकिन अपने गुरु एम. बालमुरलिकृष्णन के साथ इस गाने को फिल्माया.
इस गाने के आने के 20 साल बाद जूम टी.वी ने इसको दोबारा रिकॉर्ड किया. साल 2010 में दोबारा आए ‘मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा’ की बहुत आलोचना हुई. पुराने गाने का समय 6 मिनट 9 सेकंड था, जिसको नए रूपांतरण में खीचकर 16 मिनट 17 सेकंड का बना दिया गया. सिन्धी समाज के लोग भी इस गाने से खासा खुश नहीं थे. उनकी नाराजगी की वजह उनकी भाषा में गाया गया ‘मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा’ की लाइन को नए रूपांतरण से हटाना था. इसकी आलोचना का कारण यह भी था कि इस रूपांतरण में वह एहसास गायब था, जिसको सुन कर ये लगे कि हम भारत की बात कर रहे हैं. नए रूपांतरण में केवल बड़े-बड़े फिल्मी सितारों पर ज्यादा ध्यान दिया गया और बाकी क्षेत्र के लोगों को नजरअंदाज कर दिया गया.
हम आज भी जब-जब ‘मिले सुर मेरा तुम्हारा सुनते हैं’ हमें तब-तब यह एहसास होता है कि हम भारतीय वेश-भूषा, भाषा, खान-पान में चाहे कितने ही अलग क्यों न हों, पर हमारी संस्कृति, सभ्यता और साहित्य हमें एक बनाती है. आइए, हम सब एक स्वर में मिलकर गाते हैं और सबको बताते हैं कि हम एक हैं.
