कितने उपयोगी है मिट्टी के बर्तन
तपती धुप में झुलसने के बाद जब सूखी मिट्टी पर बारिश की बूंदे गिरती हैं तो उसकी सौंधी खुश्बू से धरती महक उठती है. जब गर्मी के मौसम में चिलचिलाती धुप से घर पहुँचो और घड़े का ठंडा पानी मिल जाये तो मन आनंदित हो जाता है या जब मिट्टी से बने बर्तन में खाना पकता है तो उसकी खुश्बू पूरे घर के साथ साथ आसपास के घरो में भी फैल जाती है. खुश्बू का जादु ऐसा की जिसे भुख नहीं भी लगी हो उसके मुंह में भी पानी आ जाए.
हम गाँव की बात करते हैं तो हमे अपने दादा-दादी की बातें याद आती है. कैसे उस ज़माने में मिट्टी के बर्तनों का इस्तेमाल होता था. आज भी घरो में मिट्टी के बर्तन में खाना पकता है, पीने का पानी घड़े या सुराही में भरा जाता है, चाय मिटटी के प्याली में पी जाती है.
इसका मतलब ये नहीं है की गाँव में एलपीजी गैस नहीं है या गाँव के लोग आज भी पिछड़े हुए हैं. इसका मतलब है कि वो हमसे बहुत आगे हैं. उनको अपने सेहत की चिंता है.
राज्यों में कला
हिमाचल प्रदेश, राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात , हरयाणा, बंगाल, मणिपुर, बिहार ये वो राज्य हैं जहाँ मिट्टी के बर्तन प्रसिद्ध हैं और उन पर की गयी कारीगरी भी. हिमाचल का काँगड़ा अपने काले बर्तनों के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं तो यूपी का मेरठ और हरयाणा का झझ्झर सुराहियों के लिए जाना जाता है. कानपुर अपने बर्तन पर बनेखुबसूरत नक्काशियों के लिए दुनिया में जाना जाता है. बंगाल के बीरभूमि और मणिपुर भी मिटटी के बर्तन के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्द है.
कहाँ से आये बर्तन
जब हम बात करते हैं मिट्टी के बर्तनों की तो ये सवाल मन में आता है कि आखिर कहाँ से आये ये बर्तन? माना जाता है की मिट्टी के बर्तनों की शुरुआत 5500ई पूर्व सिन्धु घाटी सभ्यता से हुई. तब से लेकर आज के आधुनिक युग तक मिट्टी के बर्तनों को इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है. काँगड़ा के बर्तनों का तरीका, हरप्पन संस्कृति की बर्तनों से मिलती-जुलती है.
हिन्दू धर्म में महत्ता
हिन्दू धर्म की माने तो मिट्टी से पवित्र वस्तु कुछ नहीं है, इसलिए भगवान को मिट्टी के बर्तन में भोग लगाया जाता है. जन्म-मरन, शादी-ब्याह, तीज-त्यौहार, पूजा-पाठ ये सब अधूरे रह जाते अगर मिट्टी के बर्तन नहीं होते. जब भी कभी घर में पूजा पाठ होता है तो उसका प्रसाद मिट्टी के बर्तन मे ही बनता है. बिना मिट्टी के दिए के हम कोई भी पूजा नहीं कर पते. बंगाल, बिहार और गुजरात में टेराकोटा मिट्टी से भगवान की प्रतिमा बनती है जिसकी लोग पूजा करते हैं.
आयुर्वेद क्या कहता है
आयुर्वेद कहता है खाना हमेशा मिट्टी के बर्तन में ही बनाना चाहिए. आयुर्वेद में उसके कई फायदे बताये गए हैं. ये खाने को ज़हरीली होने से बचाता और इसमें खाना लम्बे वक़्त तक ताज़ा रहता है. इसमें कम तेल का इस्तमाल होता है जिससे कोलेस्ट्रोल जैसी बीमारियों से दूर रह सकते हैं. खाने का स्वाद के साथ साथ इसकी पौष्टिकता की मात्रा बरक़रार रहती है. पाचन शक्ति को मजबूत बनाता है.
स्वास्थ्य और स्वाद दोनों के लिए मिट्टी के बर्तन इस्तेमाल होना ज़रूरी है. स्वास्थ्य ही पूंजी है और अगर स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ा तो जीवन की सबसे बड़ी पूँजी खतरे में आ जाती है. अपना और अपने परिवार का ध्यान रखना परम कर्तव्य है और उसके लिए मिट्टी के बर्तन का उपयोग ज़रूरी
