सिर्फ संस्कृत ही नहीं और भी भाषाओं में है रामायण..
Ramayan: वाल्मीकि रामायण, सबसे प्राचीन रामायण है। साहित्यिक शोध के लिए भगवान राम के बारे में अधिकारिक रूप से जानकारी के लिए मूल स्त्रोत के रूप में वाल्मीकि रामायण को ही लिया जाता रहा है। वैसे तो नवरात्रों और दशहरे की इस पावन पर्व के अवसर पर हम सत्य और असत्य के बीच के द्वन्द को पार कर एक महापुरूष के जीवन से कई सारी सीखें अपनाते हैं। और इन सारी सीखो को हम तक पहुंचाया है हमारे पूर्वजों द्वारा रचित पुस्तकों ने। हमारे समाज के इन कर्णधारों ने समय की गति को मात दे कर अपने आने वाले पीढ़ी को अपने ज्ञान से अवगत कराने के लिए ही इन पुस्तकों की रचना की होगी। समाज चाहे उत्तर का हो या दक्षिण का, पूर्व का हो या पश्चिम का सब अपने आने वाली पीढ़ी को, अपने ज्ञान को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए अपनी अपनी भाषा में इसे प्रसारित और प्रचारित करने की व्यवस्था की है। इन्हीं में से एक कहानी है मर्यादा पुरूषोत्तम राम की। मर्यादा पुरूषोत्तम राम के जीवन से एक नहीं सैकड़ों पीढ़ियों ने समय दर समय शिक्षा लेकर जीवन के एक मुकाम को हासिल किया है।
रामायण की यह शिक्षा हमें उसके लिए लिखी गई पुस्तक से मिलती है। लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि रामायण को भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार से गिनने पर 300 सौ से लेकर 1000 तक की संख्या में विविध रूपों में देखा जा सकता है। कहते हैं रामायण की इन विभिन्न रूपों में, संस्कृत में रचित राम कथा केवल वाल्मीकि रामायण में ही नहीं अपितु “मुनि व्यास” द्वारा रचित “महाभारत” में भी “रामोपाख्यान” के “आरण्यकपर्व” में किया गया है। इसके साथ ही साथ “द्रोण पर्व” तथा शांतिपर्व में भी रामकथा का उल्लेख है।
“बौद्ध परंपरा” में श्री राम के बारे में “तीन जातक” कथाओं- “दशरथ जातक”, “अनामक जातक” और “दशरथ नामक” में भी लिखा गया है। आपको बता दे कि जातक कथाएं बौद्ध धर्म में प्रचलित पुस्तकें हैं जिनमें जीवन और ज्ञान के बारे में लिखा जाता था। हालांकि जातक कथाओं में लिखी गई कहानियों और वाल्मीकि रचित रामायण में थोड़ी भिन्नता देखने को मिल जाती है। लेकिन इसके बाद भी बौद्ध जातक ग्रंथों में वर्णित रामकथा उसके स्वर्णिम पृष्ठों का इतिहास के रूप में जाना जाता है।
जैन ग्रंथों में राम कथा, “विमलसूरि” द्वारा रचित “पउमचियं” जो कि “प्राकृत भाषा” में लिखी हुई है के साथ साथ “रविषेण” द्वारा रचित “पद्मपुराण” जो कि संस्कृत में लिखी गई है, में वर्णित है। जैन परंपरा में राम का नाम “पद्म” बताया गया है।
राम कथा एक नहीं बल्कि अनेक भाषाओं में लिखी गई है। हिन्दी को ही लीजिए इस भाषा में ही अकेले राम कथा 11 से ज्यादा की संख्या में मौजूद है। मराठी में 8, बंग्ला में 25, तमिल में 12, उड़िया में 6 राम कथा मौजूद हैं। इन सब के बीच उत्तर भारत की धरती पर लिखित गोस्वामी तुलसीदास कृत रामचरित मानस ने जनमानस के बीच एक विशेष स्थान पाया है। स्वामी करपात्री जी ने “रामायण मीमांसा” की रचना कर रामकथा को एक वैज्ञानिक आधार दिया है। वर्तमान समय में राम कथानकों में आर्ष रामायण, अद्भूत रामायण, कृत्तिवास रामायण, बिलंका रामायण, मैथिली रामायण, सर्वार्थ रामायण, तत्वार्थ रामायण, संजीवनी रामायण, कम्ब रामायण, भुशुण्डि रामायण, अध्यात्म रामायण, योगवशिष्ठ रामायण, आनंद रामायण आदि प्रमुख है।
सिर्फ भारत की धरती ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशों की धरती पर भी रामायण कथा के बारे में लिखा गया है। विदेशों में “तिब्बती रामायण”, पूर्वी “तुर्किस्तान” की “खोतानी रामायण”, “इंडोनेशिया” की “ककबिन रामायण”, जावा की सेरतराम, पातानी रामकथा, इण्डोचायना की रामकेर्ति, बर्मा की यूतोकी रामायण, थाईलैंड की रामकियेन आदि भी अपने अपने देशों बहुत ज्यादा प्रचलित है। कुछ विद्वान कहते हैं कि ग्रीस के महान कवि होमर” की प्राचीन काव्य “इलियड” तथा रोम के कवि “नोनस” की कृति “डायनीशिया” तथा रामकथा में बहुत ज्यादा समानता है।
