RBI ने अमेजन पे को दी मंजूरी, पेटीएम के यूजर्स में भारी गिरावट
आरबीआई के फैसले के बाद डिजिटल भुगतान ऐप पेटीएम की मुश्किलें कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रही हैं। 29 फरवरी के बाद पेटीएम द्वारा वॉलेट भुगतान को रोकने के आरबीआई के आदेश के बाद बड़ी संख्या में यूजर्स दूसरे ऑनलाइन पेमेंट्स ऐप की ओर रूख कर रहे हैं। आपको बता दें कि केंद्रीय बैंक ने हाल में जारी एक आदेश में पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक पर कई सारी पाबंदियां लगा दी थी। इसी बीच रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने अमेजन पे को तब तक के लिए पेमेंट एग्रीगेटर के रूप में काम करने को कहा है।
आरबीआई द्वारा अमेजन के पेमेंट एग्रीगेटर लाइसेंस को अप्रूव कर दिया गया है। अब अमेजन अपने प्लेटफार्म से ई-पेमेंट की सुविधा दे पाएगा। अमेजन पे बैलेंस, मनी वॉलेट जैसी सेवाएं देने के लिए तैयारी पूरी कर चुका है। साल 2024 की शुरूआती महीने में 10 कंपनियों को इस तरह का लाइसेंस जारी किया गया है। इसमें जोमैटो, जसपे, डिसेंट्री, जोहो, सट्राइप आदि शामिल हैं।
आपको बात दें कि पेटीएम यूपीआई के करीब नौ करोड़ यूजर्स हैं, जिनमें से लगभग 1.5 करोड़ यूनीक यूजर्स हैं। प्राप्त सूचना के अनुसार 7 करोड़ से ज्यादा यूजर्स ने दूसरे यूपीआई ऐप्स भी डाउनलोड कर लिया है। पेटीएम ऐप को कुल 9 करोड़ यूजर्स में से केवल 10 प्रतिशत उपभोक्ता के पास ही पेटीएम पेमेंट बैंक में अकाउंट है। आरबीआई के एक्शन के बाद बाजार में पेटीएम के शेयरों में भी भारी गिरावट देखी गई| हालांकि ऐसा कहा जा रहा है कि जिनका बैंक अकाउंट पेटीएम से लिंक है, उनको भुगतान करने में किसी भी प्रकार की दिक्कत नहीं आएगी|
