टेलीविजन का दुनिया के चौराहों से भारत की गलियों तक का सफर
HISTORY OF TELEVISION: शिक्षा हो, मनोरंजन हो या राजनीति या कोई अन्य क्षेत्र। आज के समय में किसी भी क्षेत्र से जुड़ी जानकारी आप टेलीविजन के जरिए आसानी से कहीं भी बैठे-बैठे पा सकते हैं। टीवी के जरिए ही आज हम दुनिया में हो रही तमाम चीजों के बारे में जानकारी पाते हैं। आज बेशक ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म जैसे साधन मौजूद हैं, लेकिन टीवी के प्रति लोगों का प्रेम अब भी बरकरार है। हर साल 21 नवंबर को वर्ल्ड टेलीविजन डे (World Television Day) मनाया जाता है। आइए इस मौके पर आपको बताते हैं कि दुनिया और भारत में इसका सफर कैसे शुरू हुआ। और टीवी पर प्रसारित होने वाला पहला सीरियल( धारावाहिक) कौन सा था।
दुनिया में टेलीविजन का आगमन कैसे हुआ?
कहा जाता है कि टेलीविजन का आविष्कार एक स्कॉटिश इंजीनियर जॉन लोगी बेयर्ड ने साल 1924 में किया था। इसके बाद साल 1927 में फार्न्सवर्थ ने दुनिया के पहले वर्किंग टेलीविजन का निर्माण किया। वर्किंग टीवी का आविष्कार होने के बाद इसे 01 सितंबर 1928 में प्रेस के सामने पेश किया गया। शुरुआत में टीवी ब्लैक एंड व्हाइट था, लेकिन साल 1928 में जॉन लोगी बेयर्ड ने कलर टेलीविजन का आविष्कार किया। हालांकि पब्लिक ब्रॉडकास्टिंग की शुरुआत साल 1940 में हुई थी।
साल 1924 में स्कॉटिश इंजीनियर, जॉन लोगी बेयर्ड ने तकनीक की दुनिया में एक बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल करते हुए टेलीविजन का आविष्कार से एक नए क्रांति को जन्म दिया। उस समय कौन जानता था कि इस आविष्कार की वजह से लोगों की आने वाली जिंदगी पूरी तरह से बदल जाएगी। बक्से, कार्ड और पंखे के मोटर से तैयार हुआ टीवी आज लोगों के जीवन का अहम हिस्सा बन चुका है। भले ही आज लोगों के पास मनोरंजन के लिए कई साधन मौजूद हैं, लेकिन बावजूद इसके लोग अब भी टीवी देखना पसंद करते हैं। दुनियाभर में भले ही टीवी 1924 में आई हो, लेकिन भारत में इसे आने में कुछ समय और लग गया था।
भारत में इसका सफ़र
साल 1924 में टेलीविजन के आविष्कार के तीन दशक बाद टीवी ने भारत में दस्तक दी थी। प्रेस सूचना ब्यूरो के मुताबिक 15 सितंबर, 1959 को यूनाइटेड नेशनंस एजुकेशनल, साइंटिफिक और कल्चरल ऑर्गनाइजेशन (UNESCO) की मदद से ऑल इंडिया रेडियो के अंतर्गत देश में टेलीविजन की शुरुआत हुई थी और आकाशवाणी भवन की पांचवीं मंजिल पर टीवी का पहला ऑडिटोरियम बना था। टीवी के इस पहले ऑडिटोरियम का उद्घाटन देश के पहले राष्ट्रपति डॉ. राजेंद्र प्रसाद ने किया था।
शुरुआती दौर में टेलीविजन पर हफ्ते में दो बार दिन में एक घंटे के लिए प्रोग्राम चलाए जाते थे। इस कार्यक्रमों में सामुदायिक, स्वास्थ्य, यातायात, सड़क नियम, नागरिकों के कर्तव्यों तथा अधिकारों से संबंधित विषय दिखाए जाते थे। इसके बाद साल 1975 में टीवी का हिंदी में नामकरण किया गया और इसे दूरदर्शन का नाम दिया गया। इस साल तक देश के मात्र सात शहरों में ही टेलीविजन की सेवा शुरू की गई थी। वहीं, दूरदर्शन का रोजाना प्रसारण साल 1965 से शुरू हो सका।
भारत के पहले टीवी सीरियल की बात करें तो इसका नाम था ‘हम लोग’। इस सीरियल को फिल्म अभिनेता अशोक कुमार ने बनाया था। इस सीरियल में मनोज पाहवा, सीमा पहवा, दिव्या सेठ शाह, सुषमा सेठ, राजेश पुरी, विनोद नागपाल, लवलीन मिश्रा, जयश्री अरोड़ा जैसे कई कलाकारों ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाएं निभाईं थीं। इस धारावाहिक का आखिरी एपिसोड 17 दिसंबर 1985 को टेलीकास्ट हुआ था। इस धारावाहिक ने उस समय खूब वाहवाही बटोरी थी। इसके बाद धीरे-धीरे टीवी पर कई अन्य धारावाहिक के प्रसारण का भी सिलसिला शुरू हो गया।
इसलिए तो कहते हैं कि सूचना और मनोरंजन का बड़ा हिस्सा आज के आधुनिक समय में टेलीविजन पर आकर ठहर गया है। टेलीविजन दर्शकों को उनकी पसंद का सारा का सारा मनचाही चीजें घर पर बैठे-बिठाए परोस रहा है। इसलिए कह सकते हैं कि टेलीविजन ने अंगद की भांति देश-दुनिया की तमाम सूचनाओं और मनोरंजनों के साधनों को पहुंचाने और विचारों के आदान-प्रदान के तौर पर अपने पांव मजबूती से जमा लिए हैं। निश्चित रूप से ये सारी चीजें आमजन के लिए अच्छी ही रही हैं। जिसने सशक्त और द्रुतगति का ज़रिया बनकर सुगमता के अनगिनत रास्ते खोल दिए हैं।
रेडियो जैसे अन्य साधनों ने जहां आवाज और अखबार ने पठनीय माध्यमों से सूचनाओं को पंख लगाए हैं। वहीं, टेलीविजन ने संचार को दृश्यात्मकता तौर पर आंखें प्रदान की हैं। टेलीविजन की पकड़ सिर्फ मनोरंजन तक ही नहीं है, बल्कि, समाचार, विचार, शिक्षा और जागरूकता जैसे असंख्य क्षेत्रों में भी इसने अभूतपूर्व कीर्तिमान स्थापित किए हैं। टीवी आमजनों की विभिन्न जिज्ञासाओं को भांप कर उन्हें वैसा ही स्वाद देने का प्रयास करता है। सरकारी योजनाएं हों या सार्वजनिक सूचनाएं सभी में टीवी का पर्दा अभूतपूर्व और अव्वल भूमिका निभा रहा है।
