भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव की त्रिमूर्ति भारत के लिए रहेगी वंदनीय!
“वे झूल गए थे फांसी पर मेरी आज़ादी की खातिर” कुछ एहसान ऐसे होते हैं जिनको हम कभी नहीं उतार सकते। भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव की त्रिमूर्ति सदा से भारत के लिए वंदनीय थी है और रहेगी। 8 अप्रैल 1929 को अंग्रेजों की बहरी सरकार को भारत में उठ रही स्वतंत्रता की आवाज को सुनाने के लिए एक धमाके की आवश्यकता थी। और यह जिम्मेदारी तीन युवकों ने उठाई और केंद्रीय असेम्बली में पूर्वनियोजित योजना के तहत खाली स्थान पर बम फेंका और इंकलाब जिंदाबाद कहते हुए स्वतः गिरफ्तारी भी दी।
लगभग दो साल तीनों पर मुकदमा चला और 24 मार्च 1931 को इनकी फांसी देने का आदेश दिया गया। भगत सिंह राजगुरु और सुखदेव की फांसी की खबर पूरे देश में आग की तरह फ़ैल गई। अंग्रेज समझ गए कि तय समय पर इनकी फांसी देने से जनाक्रोश को संभालना मुश्किल हो जाएगा। जनाक्रोश के डर से अंग्रेजों ने तय तारीख से एक दिन पहले यानी आज ही के दिन तीनों को लाहौर के सेन्ट्रल जेल में फांसी पर लटका दिया। यही नहीं गुप्त तरीके से सतलुज नदी के किनारे तीनों का अंतिम संस्कार भी कर दिया। भगत सिंह, राजगुरु और सुखदेव इतिहास के पन्नों में दर्ज हो गए!
आज यानि 23 मार्च का दिन हम सबके लिए वंदनीय है जो इन बलिदानियों के साथ सदा के लिए अमर हो गया। फांसी के वक्त भगत सिंह और सुखदेव की उम्र चौबीस तथा राजगुरु की उम्र मात्र तेईस साल थी, जिस उम्र में युवा कमीज की क्रीज की चिंता करता है। यह तीनों देश की आज़ादी के लिए हँसते हँसते यह कहते हुए फांसी पर झूल गए कि “वक़्त आने दे बता देंगे तुझे ए आसमां, हम अभी से क्या बताएं क्या हमारे दिल में है!”
