टाइप 1 डायबिटीज छात्रों को मिली CBSE से छूट, बिना चेकिंग के ले जा पाएंगे सामान
सूचना मिली है कि सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकेंडरी एजुकेशन (सीबीएसई) ने मधुमेह टाइप-1 से पीड़ित 10 वीं और 12 वीं के छात्रों को परीक्षा के दौरान डॉक्टर के नज़रिये के अनुसार खाना पान ले जाने की छूट दी है, जिसमें छात्र शुगर की टेबलेट, चॉकलेट, कैंडी, केला, सेब, संतरा जैसे फल, सैंडविच जैसे स्नैक परीक्षा में साथ ले जा सकते हैं।साथ ही 500 मिलीलीटर पानी की बोतल किसी पारदर्शी पाउच व बॉक्स में ले जा सकेंगे।
दूसरे एग्जाम में भी दी जाएगी ये छूट
नई दिल्ली में दिल्ली डायबिटीज एजुकेशन एंड रिसर्च फाउंडेशन में चेयरमैन डॉ. अशोक कुमार झिंगन बताते है कि सीबीएसई द्वारा 10वीं व 12वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा में बैठने वाले टाइप-1 डायबिटीज से पीड़ित छात्रों को परीक्षा के दौरान चिकित्सीय दृष्टि से खानपान का सामान ले जाने की छूट देने के लिए उठाया गया यह कदम बहुत जरूरी था। वह आगे यह भी बताते है कि अब सभी प्रकार की परीक्षाओं में भाग लेने वाले टाइप-1 डायबिटीज से पीड़ित लोगो को भी यह सुविधा दी जाएगी तक वे पूर्ण रूप से परीक्षा पर ध्यान दे सके और बेहतर परफॉरमेंस से अपना करियर और फ्यूचर बना सके।
बच्चे कर पाएंगे परीक्षा में अच्छा प्रदर्शन
डॉ.अशोक कुमार झिंगन का कहना हैं कि टाइप-1 डायबिटीज से पीड़ित बच्चों को आमतौर पर दिन में चार इंसुलिन के इंजेक्शन लगाने का सुझाव दिया जाता हैं। बताया जाता है कि टाइप 1 डायबिटीज से ग्रस्थ बचे इंसुलिन का इंजेक्शन घर से ही लगाकर परीक्षा देने आते है जिसके कारण वह परीक्षा में फॉक्स नहीं कर पाते हैं। इंसुलिन के इन्जेक्शंन का असर 3 से 4 घंटो तक रहता है।जब शुगर लेवल 70 मिलीग्राम प्रति डेसीलीटर से नीचे जाती हैं तो बच्चों के हाथ-पैर कांपने लगते हैं, सिर भारी हो जाता है, आंखों के सामने अंधेरा छा जाता है। साथ ही घबराहट होना, पसीना आना, कन्फ्यूजन (भ्रम) होना, सोचने-समझने की क्षमता में कमी भी हो जाती हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में बच्चा लिख नहीं पाता, बच्चे का कंसंट्रेशन खत्म हो जाता हैंजिसके कारण सीबीएसई ने यह कदम उठाया हैं।
छात्र कैसे उठा पाएंगे इन सुविधा का लाभ
सीबीएसई द्वारा इस सुचना से जुड़ी गाइडलाइन्स भी जारी कर दी गयी है जीके द्वारा टाइप 1 डायबिटीज के छात्र इस सुचना की सुविधा उठा सके। गाइडलाइन्स हैं :
- छात्रों को रजिस्ट्रेशन या उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जमा करते समय अपने टाइप-1 डायबिटीज के बारे में बोर्ड को सूचित करना होगा।
- ऐसे छात्रों को सीबीएसई के पोर्टल पर कुछ डॉक्यूमेंट्स अपलोड करने होंगे।
- इसमें परीक्षा के दौरान सीजीएम/एफजीएम/इंसुलिन पंप के यूज के लिए मेडिकल स्पेशलिस्ट का रिकमेंडेशन शामिल है। साथ ही माता-पिता को भी इन डिवाइस के बारे में पता होना चाहिए।
स्कूल/छात्र/अभिभावकों को परीक्षा से कम से कम तीन दिन पहले परीक्षा केंद्र पर जाकर केंद्र अधीक्षक को अपने साथ लेकर जाने वाली वस्तुओं के बारे में सूचित करना होगा।
