Vindhya Stories: प्रिय सुधीजन पाठकों, आज शनिवार विशेष में हम आपके समक्ष ले कर आए है भारत के सीने के मध्य में स्थित पर्वत-राज विंध्य की कहानी। आखिर क्यूं पर्वत-राज विंध्य ने अपना कद इतना बढ़ा लिया कि पृथ्वी पर सूर्य की किरणें पहुंच नहीं पा रही थी और जीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो रहा था। और आखिर किसके कहने पर उसने अपना कद छोटा किया और पृथ्वी को फिर से जीवन दान दिया।
कहते हैं एक बार पर्वत-राज हिमालय और विंध्य में एक भयानक प्रतिस्पर्द्धा शुरू हो गई। दोनों में अपने विशाल स्वरूप को लेकर अहम का भाव आ गया और इससे प्रभावित हो दोनों ने अपना-अपना आकार बढ़ाना शुरू कर लिया। विंध्य ने तो अपना आकार इतना बढ़ा लिया कि इसके कारण धरती पर सूर्य का प्रकाश ही नहीं पहुंच पा रहा था। होना क्या था पृथ्वी पर सूर्य की रौशनी ना पहुंचे तो जीवन कैसे फले-फूले। यह प्रश्न अब सब को सताने लगा। चारों ओर के त्राहिमाम् ने देवता और मनुष्य सभी को चिंता में डाल दिया। आखिर में जाकर इस परेशानी से ऊबरने के लिए सब ने यह तय किया कि वे अगस्त मुनि के पास जाएंगे और उनसे अपने शिष्य विंध्य को समझाने को कहेंगे। हुआ भी ऐसा सभी देवता-गण अगस्त मुनि के पास पहुंचे और उनसे आग्रह किया कि पृथ्वी पर जीवन के सुचारू व्यवस्था के लिए विंध्य को आकार कम करने को कहे।
अगस्त मुनि ने निवेदन को स्वीकार करते हुए अतिशीघ्र ही विंध्य पर्वत को अपना आकार घटाने को कहा अन्यथा उसके विशाल स्वरूप के कारण पृथ्वी पर सूर्य का प्रकाश नहीं पहुंच पाने की स्थिति में मानवों पर भारी संकट आ जाएगा। अपने गुरु अगस्त मुनि के सामने विंध्य ने सर झुकाकर प्रणाम किया और सेवा भाव के साथ उनकी बात को मानने का विश्वास दिलाया। अगस्त मुनि ने अपने शिष्य विंध्य पर्वत से कहा कि जब तक वह दक्षिण से लौटकर नहीं आ जाते विंध्य यूं ही झुंककर उनकी प्रतिक्षा करें। विंध्य ने अपने गुरु की आज्ञा मानी और आज तक झुक कर उनकी प्रतिक्षा कर रहा है क्योंकि मुनि अगस्त के आदेश फिर कभी दक्षिण से लौट कर आए ही नहीं।
विंध्य पर्वत प्राचीन भारत के सप्तकुल पर्वतों में से एक है। विंध्य शब्द की व्युत्पत्ति विध् धातु से हुई है। जिसका अर्थ होता है बेध कर। इसलिए तो विंध्य पर्वतमाला भारत के मध्य में स्थित है। विंध्य पर्वतमाला के बारे में वेद, महाभारत, रामायण के साथ-साथ पुराणों में भी उल्लेख मिलता है। विंध्य के पहाड़ों की रानी विंध्यवासिनी माता है। आइए इसके बारे में भी जानते हैं।
9 पत्थरों से बनें घरौंदे का रहस्य
कहते हैं पर्वतराज विंध्य के ऊपरी शिखर पर आज भी मां भगवती दुर्गा निवास करती हैं। यहां पर शाम को सूर्यास्त के समय सूर्य की किरणें मां भगवती के चरणों को स्पर्श करती है। कहते हैं विंध्याचल के पावन स्थान पर मां भगवती के तीनों रूप मां लक्ष्मी, मां काली और मां सरस्वती एक ऐसे त्रिकोण पर विराजमान हैं जो पूरे ब्रह्मांड में कहीं भी नहीं है। यूं तो विंध्याचल मां विंध्यावासिनी की नगरी के रूप में विख्यात है, मगर यहां विंध्य पर्वत पर मां काली और मां अष्टभुजा भी विराजती हैं। यहां दूर दराज से आने वाले श्रद्धालु मां के तीनों स्वरूपों का दर्शन कर अपनी मनोकामना को प्राप्त करती हैं। वैसे तो विंध्य पर्वत से अनेक धार्मिक मान्यताएं जुड़ी हैं, लेकिन इनमें से एक मान्यता है कि इस पहाड़ पर 9 पत्थरों से घरौंदा बनाने से घर की सारी मन्नतें पूरी हो जाती हैं। शायद यह सुन कर आपको हैरानी हो लेकिन वहां के स्थानीय लोगों की माने तो यह सत्य है। मान्यता है कि विंध्य एक जीवंत पहाड़ है और इसपर देवी की अपार कृपा है। जिस किसी भी जातक के जीवन में आवास का अभाव है और वो आवास की कामना की पूर्ति करना चाहते हैं तो वो इस त्रिकोण धाम में आकर 9 पत्थरों के लेकर धरौंदा बनाए और देवी की कृपा पाएं।
