क्या है विजयादशमी का सामाजिक महत्त्व ?

वैदिक काल से ही भारतीय संस्कृति वीरता की पूजक और शौर्य की उपासक रही है। हमारी संस्कृति कि गाथा इतनी निराली है कि देश के अलावा विदेशों में भी इसकी गुंज सुनाई देती है। तभी तो पुरी दुनिया ने भारत को विश्व गुरु माना है। भारत के प्रमुख पर्वो में से एक पर्व है दशहरा जिसे विजयादशमी के नाम से भी मनाया जाता है। दशहरा केवल त्योहार ही नही बल्कि इसे कई बातों का प्रतीक भी माना जाता है।
दशहरें में रावण के दस सिर इन दस पापों के सूचक माने जाते है – काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, हिंसा, आलस्य, झूठ, अहंकार, मद और चोरी। इन सभी पापों से हम किसी ना किसी रूप में मुक्ति चाहते है और इस आस में हर साल रावण का पुतला बड़े से बड़ा बना कर जलाते है कि हमारी सारी बुराइयाँ भी इस पुतले के साथ अग्नि में स्वाह हो जाये।
लेकिन क्या ऐसा होता है? नही, क्योकि अगर हमारी व समाज की बुराइयाँ सच में रावण के पुतले के साथ अग्नि में स्वाह होती तो क्या हम हर वर्ष रावण के पुतले को बड़े से बड़ा बनाते? कभी नही, इसका अर्थ यह निकलता है कि हम मानते और जानते है कि समाज में दिनों-दिन बुराइयाँ व असमानताएँ भी रावण के पुतले कि तरह बड़ी होती जा रही है। तर्क तो यह है कि हम इन पर्वो पर सिर्फ़ परंपरा निभाते है। इन त्योहारो से मिले संकेत और संदेशों को अपने जीवन में नही उतारते।
यह पर्व हमें यह संदेश देता है कि “अन्याय और अधर्म का विनाश तो हर हाल में सुनिश्चित है। फिर चाहे आप दुनियाभर की शक्तियों और प्राप्तियों से संपन्न ही क्यो न हो, अगर आपका आचरण सामाजिक गरिमा या किसी भी व्यक्ति विशेष के प्रति गलत होता है तो आपका विनाश भी तय है।” दशहरा यानी न्याय, नैतिकता, सत्यता, शक्ति और विजय का पर्व है लेकिन आज हम इन सभी बातों को भूलकर सिर्फ़ मनोरंजन तक ही सीमित रखते है अपने त्योहारों को।
हर युग में अन्याय, अहंकार, अत्याचार और आतंकवाद जैसे कलंक रूपी असुर रहे है। हमारा इतिहास गवाह है :- त्रेता युग में रावण, मेघनाथ, ताड़का आदि द्वापर युग में कंस, पूतना, दुर्योधन, शकुनी आदि और आज इस कलियुग में आंतक, भय, अन्याय और आतंकवाद जैसे असुर पनपते रहे है और पनपते जा रहे है।
त्रेता में श्री राम को और द्वापर में श्री कृष्ण को अच्छाई का प्रतीक माना गया है क्योकि उन्होने अपनी इच्छा शक्ति के बल पर अधर्म पे धर्म कि विजय प्राप्त कि थी। श्री राम और श्री कृष्ण जैसे वीर भी जीवन-संघर्ष से वंचित नही रह पाये, हम तो सामान्य मनुष्य है फिर हम जीवन-संघर्ष से कैसे बच सकते है।
श्री राम का संपूर्ण जीवन हमें आदर्श और मर्यादा की शिक्षा देता है कि हर व्यक्ति के जीवन में सुख-दुख तो आते-जाते रहेंगे क्योकि यह तो सृष्टि का अटल नियम है। लेकिन हमें अपना जीवन सब परेशानियों के होते हुए भी हिम्मत और आशा के साथ जीना है बल्कि इस जीवन को ईश्वर की देन समझ कर अपने जीवन को सार्थक बनाना है।
श्री राम और रावण दोंनो ही शिव के उपासक थे लेकिन दोंनो की व्याख्या अलग-अलग क्यो? क्योकि रावण की साधना और भक्ति स्वार्थ, मान, सत्ता, भोग-विलास और समाज को दुख देने हेतु थी जबकि श्री राम की साधना परोपकार, न्याय, मर्यादा, शांति, सत्य और समाज कल्याण के उद्देश्य हेतु थी। तभी तो इतने सालों बाद आज भी हम श्री राम की जय से रावण के पुतले का अंत करते है।
दशहरे के इस पावन पर्व पर हम सब यह सोचने के लिए बाध्य हो कि देश और समाज कि प्रगति के लिए हम अपनी सभी बुराइयों को भी रावण के पुतले के साथ सदा-सदा के लिए जला देंगे और समाज व देश कि उन्नति के लिए कार्य करेंगे, तभी हमारी सही मायने में रावण पे विजय होगी।
हिन्दू रीती-रिवाजों के अनुसार विजयदशमी के दिन शास्त्र पूजन किया जाता है। इसके अतिरिक्त इस दिन बहुत से शुभ कार्य जैसे – बच्चे का अक्षरारंभ, नया व्यवसाय का आरंभ नई फसलों के बीज बोना आदि शुरू किये जाते हैं। कहा जाता है इस दिन जिस भी कार्य का प्रारंभ किया जाता है उसमे सफलता अवश्य मिलती है।
दशहरा के दिन अलग-अलग हिस्सों में मेले लगते है, रामलीला का आयोजन होता है और रावण, मेघनाद व् कुंभकरण के पुतले जलाए जाते हैं। जबकि दूसरी ओर इस दिन दुर्गा पूजा का भी आयोजन किया जाता है। माना जाता है रावण से युद्ध से पूर्व राम ही ने तट पर बैठकर नौ दिनों तक माँ दुर्गा की पूजा की थी। तभी से दशहरा से पहले नवरात्रि मनाई जाती है। यह पर्व व्यक्ति को अपने भीतर से दस प्रकार के पाप – काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, मद, मत्सर, अहंकार, आलस्य, हिंसा और चोरी के परित्याग का प्रेरणा देता है।
युवा देश का भविष्य है, अगर युवा पीढ़ी अपनी सोच में बदलाव लाएगी तो समाज में बुराई का असुर पूर्ण रूप से समाप्त हो जायेगा। दशहरे के त्योहार के प्रति आदर, सम्मान व प्यार को रखते हुए, अपने जीवन को अच्छा बनाने कि ओर अग्रसर करेंगे। हमें स्वंय को बदलना है किसी ओर को नही क्योकि हमारे अंदर आया बदलाव दूसरो को स्वंय ही बदलने को प्रेरित करेगा।
इस उम्मीद के साथ कि कम से कम भारत में दशहरे का असली महत्व और अर्थ समझा जायेगा। इस पावन पर्व पर ईश्वर सभी को सत्य, ज्ञान और शक्ति दे।
