होली खेलने की इन विविधताओं का जोड़ आज से नहीं बल्कि हजारों साल पहले से है। इसी क्रम में भारतीय संस्कृति में प्रेम के परिचायक राधा और कृष्ण के बीच की होली की परंपरा आज भी उत्तरप्रदेश के बरसाने में खेली जाती है। यहां की होली विश्व प्रसिद्ध है। प्रसिद्ध इसलिए कि यहां पर हजारों साल से होली खेलने की परंपरा अपने में बिलकुल अनोखी। आइए जानते हैं कि आखिर बरसाने की होली की इतनी धूम क्यूं है, पूरे विश्व में।
ब्रजमंडल की क्या है कहानी
भारत में कई स्थानों पर फाल्गुन मास के प्रारंभ से ही होली उत्सव प्रारंभ हो जाता है। इसमें से एक हैं सदियों पुरानी परंपरागत ब्रज मंडल की होली। इस विश्वविख्यात होली को देखने के लिए लोग दूर-दूर से आते हैं। ब्रजमंडल में मथुरा, गोकुल, बरसाना, वृंदावन, नंदागांव सभी शामिल हैं। ब्रजमंडल के मथुरा में तो लगभग डेढ़ महीने की होली की धूम होती है। यहां पर वसंत पंचमी के शुभ अवसर पर बांकेबिहारी अपने भक्तों के साथ होली खेलकर इस महोत्सव की शुरूआत करते हैं। यह एक परंपरा के तैर पर सदियों से चलती आ रही है।
बरसाने की होली में क्या है ख़ास
बरसाने की होली पूरे विश्व में इसलिए खास है, क्योंकि इसे खेलने का अंदाज ही निराला है। यहां रंगों के साथ-साथ लट्ठमार होली खेली जाती है। यहां पर महिलाओं हुरियारिन और पुरूषों को हुरियारे कहा जाता है। होली के अवसर पर यहां कि हुरियारिन लट्ठ यानी कि लाठी लेकर हुरियारों को मजाकिया अंदाज में पीटती हैं। वहीं पुरूष यानी कि हुरियार अपने सिर पर ढाल रखकर खुद को हुरियारिनों के लट्ठ से बचाते हैं और उन्हें रंग लगाने की कोशिश भी करते हैं। इस दौरान पारंपरिक गीत-संगीत का भी आयोजन किया जाता है।
