क्या है हाजी अली का बॉलीवुड कनेक्शन ?
आपने समुद्र में एक दरगाह देखा होगा. मजार देखा होगा. मुंबई के समुद्र में. याद आया ? नहीं आया तो याद कीजिए, ए आर रहमान का एक गाना मशहूर हुआ – पिया हाजी अली हो. इस गाने में हाजी अली, बाबा भी हैं और पिया भी हैं. व्यापक बोलचाल की भाषा में पिया प्रेमिका को ही तो कहते हैं. सूफी परंपरा में प्रेम कब किस ऊंचाई पर प्रेमी का रूप ले लेता है और किस गहराई में प्रेमिका का यह परंपरा की बंदिश पर निर्भर नहीं करता है, बल्कि बंदगी पर निर्भर करता है. इसको समझना है तो मुंबई की यात्रा करें. वर्ली के किनारे समुद्र में कुछ कदम आगे बढ़े, हाजी अली आपको वहीं मिलेंगे.
केवल एआर रहमान ने ही नहीं, कई बॉलीवुड के कलाकारों ने अपनी फिल्मों में हाजी अली की शान में गाना गया है. यहां पर शूटिंग की गई है. आपको बता दें कि हाजी अली की दरगाह मुंबई के वर्ली तट के निकट स्थित एक छोटे से टापू पर स्थित एक मस्जिद और दरगाह है. हाजी अली की दरगाह वर्ली की खाड़ी में स्थित है. यह दरगाह सड़क से लगभग 400 मीटर की दूरी पर एक छोटे से टापू पर बनाई गई है. इसे सैय्यद पीर हाजी अली शाह बुखारी की याद में सन 1431 में बनाया गया था. यह दरगाह मुस्लिम और हिंदू समुदायों के लिए विशेष धार्मिक महत्व रखती है. यह मुंबई का महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक और पर्यटन स्थल भी है. हाजी अली ट्रस्ट के अनुसार हाजी अली उज्बेकिस्तान के बुखारा प्रान्त से सारी दुनिया का भ्रमण करते हुए भारत पहुंचे थे.
हाजी अली की दरगाह पर जाने के लिए मुख्य सड़क से एक पुल बना हुआ है. इस पुल की ऊंचाई काफी कम है और इसके दोनों ओर समुद्र है. दरगाह तक सिर्फ लो टाइड के समय ही जाया जा सकता है. बाकी समय में यह पुल पानी के नीचे डूबा रहता है.
मस्जिद के अंदर पीर हाजी अली की मजार है जिसे लाल एवं हरी चादर से सजाया गया है. मजार के चारों तरफ चांदी के डंडो से बना एक दायरा है. मुख्य कक्ष में संगमरमर से बने कई स्तम्भ हैं जिनके ऊपर रंगीन कांच पर कलाकारी की गई है और अल्लाह के 99 नाम भी उकेरे गए हैं.
ऐसा कहा जाता है कि हाजी अली बहुत समृद्ध परिवार से थे लेकिन उन्होंने मक्का की यात्रा के दौरान अपनी पूरी दौलत नेक कामों के लिए दान कर दी थी. उसी यात्रा के दौरान उनका देहांत हो गया था. ऐसी मान्यता है कि कि उनका शरीर एक ताबूत में था और वह समुद्र में बहते हुए वापस मुंबई आ गया. यहीं उनकी दरगाह बनवाई गई.
