जब सफलता की गारंटी बन गया था नौशाद साहब का नाम
‘मन तड़पत हरी दर्शन को आज’, ‘नन्हा मुन्हा राही हूँ’, ‘यह गोटेदार लहंगा निकलू जब डाल के’, जैसे गाने आज कहाँ बनते हैं? आज तो धूम-धड़ाका वाले गाने ज्यादा पसंद किए जाते हैं. गानों की हम जब बात करते हैं, तो उसका संगीत और बोल दोनों ऐसा होने चाहिए मानो दिया और बाती हों. सात सुरों की पहचान होना हर किसी के बस की बात नहीं है. एक ऐसे इन्सान हैं, जिनके लिए संगीत इबादत हैं. जिनके रोम-रोम में संगीत का वास है. सुरों से लेकर शब्दों तक की शिल्पी की समझ जिनको बखूबी है. वे कोई और नहीं, संगीत की दुनिया के धु्रवतारा हैं। हम बात कर रहे हैं नौशाद साहेब की.
फिल्मी जगत में जब भी संगीत निर्देशन की बात होगी तो नौशाद का नाम उनमें हमेशा शामिल होगा. नौशाद ने फिल्मी जगत को कई ऐसे गाने दिए हैं, जिनको सुनकर मन खुश जाता है. अपने गानों को ये हमेशा परफेक्ट चाहते थे. मुगल-ऐ-आजम के संगीत को देते हुए ‘जिंदाबाद-जिंदाबाद’ गाने के लिए इन्होंने 100 से ज्यादा लोगों को गाना गवाया जो फिल्मी जगत में पहली बार हुआ था. वहीं जब ‘प्यार किया तो डरना क्या’ के लिए लता मंगेशकर को चमकदार टाइल्स वाले बाथरूम में गाने को कहा, ताकि गाने में इको का असर सही रहे. इतना ही नहीं, ‘आन’ सिनेमा के गानों के लिए 100 ऑर्केस्ट्रा का इस्तेमाल किया, तो ‘उड़न खटोला’ के लिए एक भी ऑर्केस्ट्रा का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया.
उन्होंने किसी इंटरव्यू में कहा था, ‘वो गाने जिनको अवाम ने पसंद फरमाया उनमें मेरा कोई कमाल नहीं था. कमाल उस संगीत का था जिसको आप हिंदुस्तान का संगीत कहते हैं. मैंने तो पुरानी शराब को नयी बोतलों में भर के आपके सामने पेश कर दिया था.’लखनऊ में पैदा हुए नौशाद ने अपने देश के अलग-अलग इलाकों की धुनों और शास्त्रीय संगीत को अपनी सरगम का साथी बनाया और बतौर संगीतकार अपना अलग मुकाम बनाया. फिल्मी जगत में नौशाद साहब का नाम सफलता की गारंटी बन गया था. महज 40 रुपये से काम की शुरुआत करने वाले इस संगीतकार को एक फिल्म के लिए लाख रुपये तक मिलने लगे थे.
नौशाद : संगीत की दुनिया का ध्रुवतारा
नौशाद को बचपन से ही संगीत में रुचि थी. नौशाद का जन्म 25 दिसम्बर,1919 में एक मुस्लिम परिवार में हुआ था, जहाँ संगीत की अनुमति नहीं थी. घर से छिप-छिपाकर नौशाद ने उस्ताद युसूफ अली और उस्ताद बबन शाहिद से संगीत सीखा. लेकिन जब घर में पता चला तो नौशाद को फैसला करना पड़ा कि उन्हें क्या चाहिए ? परिवार या संगीत ? नौशाद ने संगीत को चुना और मुंबई आ गए. मुंबई आकर उन्हें मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा, फुटपाथ पर भी सोना पड़ा.एक दिन इनकी मुलाकात उस्ताद झंडे खान साहब से हुई. नौशाद ने इनके साथ रहकर असिस्टेंट का काम किया.
1940 में नौशाद ने ‘प्रेम अगन’’ में स्वतंत्र रूप से पहली फिल्म में संगीत निर्देशन किया. उसके बाद 1944 में ‘रतन’ फिल्म आने के बाद नौशाद लोकप्रिय हो गए. नौशाद ने कुल 66 फिल्मों में संगीत निर्देशन की है, जिसमें से 35 फिल्मी सिल्वर जुबली, 12 फिल्में गोल्डन जुबली और 3 फिल्में डायमंड जुबली रही. नौशाद के संगीत में शास्त्रीय संगीत, लोक संगीत और भक्ति संगीत की झलक दिखती है. नौशाद ने अपने हर एक संगीत के माध्यम से इन तीनों संगीत को बखूबी दिखाया है.
‘आठवां सुर’ नौशाद की लिखी गई कवितओं की गजल है. नौशाद ने अब्दुल रशीद कारदार के प्रोडक्शन हाउस के साथ 15-16 फिल्में बनाई हैं. ‘बैजू बावरा’ और ‘मदर इंडिया’ (पहली फिल्म जो ऑस्कर में गई) जैसी फिल्मों में अपना म्यूजिक देकर उन गानों को अमर कर दिया, साथ ही ‘मेरे गीत’ और ‘पालकी’ जैसी फिल्मों के प्रोडूसर भी रहे. नौशाद साहब को उनके काम के लिए 1982 में ‘दादा साहेब फाल्के अवार्ड’ और 1992 में ‘पद्म भूषण’ पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया.
कई सालों तक संगीत छोड़ने के बाद नौशाद ने अपने वापसी छोटे परदे पर ‘द ग्रेट मराठा’ से की. उन्होंने ताजमहल फिल्म में अपने जीवन का आखिरी संगीत दिया. 5 मई, 2006 में नौशाद साहब ने अपनी आखिरी सांसंे ली, लेकिन उनका संगीत हमेशा के लिए अमर है.
