Rangbhari ekadashi: होली से पहले पड़ने वाली एकादशी को रंगभरी एकादशी कहा जाता है| इस दिन भगवान विष्णु जी के साथ साथ शिव और पार्वती की भी पूजा की जाती हैं| रंगभरी एकादशी की दो पौराणिक कहानियां मशहूर है| पहली, इस दिन माता पार्वती और शिव जी का गौना हुआ था और दूसरी कि वह दोनों शादी के बाद पहली बार काशी गए थे| इसलिए काशी विश्वनाथ के साथ साथ उज्जैन महाकाल मंदिर में भी रंग भरी एकादशी पर विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं| आपको बता दें कि इस दिन से वाराणसी में भी रंग से खेलने का सिलसिला शुरू हो जाता है, जो लगातार आगे छह दिनों तक चलता है|
आंवले के वृक्ष की पूजा का महत्व
धार्मिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार आंवले के वृक्ष में त्रिदेव का वास माना जाता है। इसमें ब्रह्माजी वृक्ष के ऊपरी भाग में, शिवजी मध्य में और भगवान विष्णु वृक्ष की जड़ों में निवास करते हैं। इतना ही नहीं धार्मिक परंपराओं के अनुसार पूरब की ओर मुँह करके आंवले के वृक्ष की पूजा करनी चाहिए। पूजा के बाद वृक्ष की आरती और परिक्रमा करने से सुख समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है | साथ ही अगर भगवान विष्णु की विशेष कृपा प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं तो रात को जागरण करके उनके मंत्र का जाप करना होगा।

इस बार फाल्गुन माह की एकादशी तिथि की शुरुआत 20 मार्च को रात 12 बजकर 21 मिनट से शुरू होगी| यह 21 मार्च को रात 2 बजकर 22 मिनट पर समाप्त होगी| उदया तिथि के अनुसार इस बार रंगभरी एकादशी 20 मार्च बुधवार को है|
