Ram Manohar Lohiya havenivarsary 12 oct: मानवता की स्थापना के पक्षधर और समाजवादी सोच के पैरोकार नेता राममनोहर लोहिया के बारे में तो आपने सुना ही होगा। कहते हैं जयप्रकाश नारायण ने देश की पुरानी राजनीतिक सोच को धत्ता बता कर एक नए विचार का सूत्रपात आजादी के बाद किया। तो राममनोहर लोहिया ने आजादी के पहले ही इस सोच की बयार ला दी थी। डॉ लोहिया के पिता जी गांधीवादी विचार के समर्थक थे। अक्सर जब वह गांधी जी से मिलने जाते तो राममनोहर लोहिया को भी अपने साथ ले जाते थे। जिसके कारण राममनोहर लोहिया के जीवन पर गांधी जी के विचारों का बहुत ही गहरा असर हुआ।
राममनोहर लोहिया का जन्म 23 मार्च 1910 को उत्तरप्रदेश के फैजाबाद में हुआ था। डॉ लोहिया के पिता हीरालाल पेशे से अध्यापक थे। राममनोहर लोहिया इंटर की पढ़ाई बनारस से की और स्नातक कोलकाता से । कहते हैं उन्होंने उच्च शिक्षा के लिए बर्लिन का चुनाव किया और 3 महीने में ही जर्मनी भाषा पर ऐसी पकड़ बना ली कि कई सारे जर्मन भी गच्चा खा जाएं। उन्होंने मात्र 2 साल में ही अर्थशास्त्र में डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्राप्त कर ली। जर्मनी में शिक्षा लेने के बाद स्वदेश वापस लौट कर उन्होंने अपनी जिंदगी जंग-ए-आजादी के नाम कर दी।
डॉ राममनोहर लोहिया अक्सर कहा करते थें कि उनपर केवल ढाई आदमियों का प्रभाव रहा है, एक मार्क्स, दूसरा गांधी और आंशिक तौर पर या आधा जवाहर लाल नेहरू का। आजाद भारत की राजनीति और चिंतन पर जन गिने-चुने लोगों का नाम आता है लोहिया उनमें अग्रणी पंक्ति में शामिल लोगों में रहे हैं। भारत के स्वतंत्रता संघर्ष के आखिरी समय में लोहिया जी की भूमिका काबिल-ए-तारीफ रही है। कहते हैं 1933 में राममनोहर लोहिया मद्रास आए और गांधी जी के साथ मिलकर जंग-ए-आजादी में शामिल हो गए। इन आंदोलनों में ही उन्होंने समाजवादी आंदोलन की भावी रूप-रेखा पेश की।
लोहिया 1935 के कांग्रेस अधिवेशन के महासचिव की भूमिका भी निभाई। 1942 में भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में उन्होंने बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया और जेल जाने पर जयप्रकाश नारायण और लोहिया हजारीबाग जेल से फरार होकर भूमिगत होकर आंदोलन का शानदार नेतृत्व किया। कहते 1946-47 के आसपास लोहिया का जवाहर लाल नेहरू से कुछ वैचारिक मतभेद भी हो गया था। लेकिन अपनी प्रखर देशभक्ति और समाजवादी विचारों से अपने समर्थकों के दिल में जगह बना कर उन्होंने बहुत ज्याद सम्मान हासिल किया था।
उनसे जुड़े किस्सों में एक किस्सा यह भी है कि राममनोहर लोहिया खुद का जन्म दिन तक नहीं मनाते थे। उनका कहना था कि उनके जन्मदिन की जगह उस दिन को शहादत दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाना चाहिए क्योंकि उसी दिन भगत सिंह, राजगुरू और सुखदेव को फांसी दी गई थी। उनका कहना था कि यह दिन शहीदों के शहादत को याद करने का दिन है। डॉ लोहिया भगत सिंह की ही तरह एक शोषण, भेदभाव रहित, समान और समतामूलक समाज की स्थापना की जाए।
राममनोहर लोहिया समाज के अंतिम पंक्ति के अंतिम व्यक्ति के लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों के पैरोकार थे। उनका कहना था कि आर्थिक गैर बराबरी से देश आगे नहीं पहुंच सकता। जाति भेदभाव को खत्म करने की आवश्यकता है और इसे हम खत्म तभी कर सकते हैं जब हम आर्थिक गैरबराबरी को दूर कर लें। कहते हैं लोहिया उन तमाम लोगों की आवाज थे, जिनकी आवाज संसद के गलियारों तक नहीं पहुंच सकती है। उनका कहना था ‘’आबादी का 27 करोड़ तीन आना प्रतिदिन पर अपना जीवनयापन करता है और प्रधानमंत्री के कुत्ते पर हर रोज तीन रूपये खर्च किए जाते हैं।‘’ विपक्ष की बेहतर भूमिका में रहकर भी जनता के सवालों से विकास को संतुलित करना, राजनीतिक पार्टोयो के लिए सीखने और आत्मसात करने की चीज है।
