Ustad Rashid Khan:भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत के जाने माने गायक राशिद खान का बीते मंगलवार यानी कि कल कोलकाता के एक अस्पताल में 55 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया। वे बहुत समय से प्रोस्टेट कैंसर से जूझ रहे थे। पिछले साल के दिसंबर माह में उनकी सेहत लगातार बिगड़ने लगी थी। बीते माह 23 दिसंबर को यह खबर आई थी कि उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया है। पिछले कुछ समय से उन्होंने आईसीयू में भर्ती किया गया था। शुरूआत में राशिद खान का इलाज मुंबई के टाटा मेमोरियल कैंसर अस्पताल में चल रहा था, बाद में वे कोलकाता लौट आए थे।
आपको बता दें कि राशिद खान का जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के बदायूं जिले में हुआ था। उन्होंने अपने नाना उस्ताद निसार हुसैन से शास्त्रीय संगीत में शिक्षा ली थी। खान साहब ने महज 11 साल की उम्र में अपनी पहली प्रस्तुति से लोगों के दिल में जगह बना ली थी। वे रामपुर-सहसवान घराने से जुड़े थे। “जब वी मेट” में गाई बंदिश “आओगे जब तुम ओ साजना” को लोगों ने काफी पसंद किया था। उस्ताद राशिद खान अपने नाना की निसार हुसैन की तरह ही विलंबित ख्यालों में गाना गाते थे। बॉलिवुड की कुछ बेहतरीन फिल्मों जैसे कि माई नेम इज खान, राज-3, शादी में जरूर आना सहित मंटो आदि में अपनी आवाज का जादू बिखेरा था।
उस्ताद राशिद खान की मौत की खबर से पूरे बॉलीवुड और संगीत घरानों में उदासी का माहौल है। शास्त्रीय संगीत की जानी मानी हस्ती डॉक्टर सोमा घोष ने उनको याद करते हुए कहा है कि “जैसे जैसे राशिद खान की उम्र बढ रही थी, उनका संगीत जवान हो रहा था।“ उनकी मौत की खबर ने सबको अंदर से हिला कर रख दिया।
