Halwa Ceremony: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार के दूसरे कार्यकाल का आखिरी बजट आज यानी कि 1 फरवरी को पेश हो रहा है। देश की वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण संसद के पटल पर बजट पेश कर रही हैं। देश में बजट पेश करने से पहले एक परंपरागत हलवा सेरेमनी मनाने की परंपरा है। इस सेरेमनी में देश की वित्त मंत्री समेत वित्त मंत्रालय के सारे आला-अधिकारी शामिल होते हैं। चूंकि यह बजट अंतरिम बजट है, इसलिए इसे वोट ऑन अकाउंट भी कहा जाता है।
क्या है हलवा सेरेमनी
देश में आजादी के बाद से ही इसे परंपरागत रूप से मनाते आ रहे हैं। हलवा सेरेमनी का आयोजन हमेशा से ही बजट की तैयारियों के पूरे होने के बाद किया जाता है। इस कार्यक्रम में वित्त मंत्री के अलावा संबंधित मंत्रालय के तमाम बड़े अधिकारी और कर्मचारी मौजूद रहते हैं।
बजट से जुड़े तमाम कार्य पूरे होने के बाद वित्त मंत्रालय के 10 नार्थ ब्लॉक स्थित परिसर के भीतर ही हलवा तैयार किया जाता है। इसके बाद वित्त मंत्री स्वयं अपने अधिकारियों तथा कर्मचारियों को यह हलवा बांटती है। इस सेरेमनी के पीछे मान्यता रही है कि हमेशा से शुभ कार्य के पहले मीठा खाने का रिवाज है। चूंकि बजट सरकार के लिए बहुत बड़ा इवेंट है इसलिए हलवा सेरेमनी का यह आयोजन प्रत्येक वर्ष होता रहा है।
